@romancitynick Judging by the comments from the Y fans, I’m not sure he will . Some people don’t have the skillset to be managers as they are not natural leaders and I think this is the case for Darren but I’m sure he’s a nice guy, most people are inherently good.

@KFlower11 Met Darren and he is a really nice bloke. Feel bad for him but I am sure he will do well in the future.

I do feel bad that I’ve wanted someone to lose their job. However, the reality was he should have never been given it in the first place . Now come on lads… please keep us up 🙏🏼

@KFlower11 It is bittersweet, he has a family and a mortgage. Ideally we could have got to the summer and regrouped but think action was needed. Generally the right decisions are also the toughest 😣

@KFlower11 It’s the nature of the sport. It can’t be fair that a club is relegated because of one person not being good enough. Now we have a fighting chance!

The only sensible solution here is to sack Darren Way… throwing money and players into the mix, isn’t going to change anything when you have someone in charge who is clearly out of his depth.

@GasCaptain That bad!Way was never the right choice. We have been poor from the get go this season. In fairness he’s bought a couple of good players in (maybe it was a scout 🤷🏼‍♀️) and we have had a host of injuries but from outside looking in, it looks like there is no leadership or gravitas

@FalzonHero Totally get that but his treatment of your son is a basic expectation of a manager IMO.If you listen to his first interview you hear a never his fault attitude and I’ve been told by others and seen in his interviews how he throws players under the bus,that is not good leadership

@FalzonHero I’ve not thought Darren was the right decision from his very first interview but you have to give people a chance . I think that chance was over a long time ago but it still breaks my heart. Two things can be true at the same time. I also feel bad for the players.

How about the manager takes accountability and stops blaming the players he didn’t bring in. I’d rather have Parselle , Greenslade , Russe , HWR , Tilson , Alves, Batten fight for bath, every day over Way!
