@KForegood @CityofAtlanta @ATL311 FYSA this is not City of Atlanta. This is a state project executed by GDOT described as "vegetation management". We coordinated a meeting with GDOT to discuss the project and for them to respond to community concerns. You can find the deck here: I-20 Vegetation Mgmt-May2024.pdf

And while I'm at it, why is @CityofAtlanta cutting down dozens of beautiful old shade trees at several highway exits, including Lowery? Suspect it's a callous way to discourage unhoused people from enjoying shade. It sucks. Do better. @CityofAtlanta @jasonsdozier @ATL311

@Atlanta_Police Your citizens keep telling you we don't want this, and y'all keep doubling down. No amount of spin is going to make this anything but a multimillion$ boondoggle. Irresponsible use of tax dollars! Why not use any of the other numerous training facilities within the metro area?
