@TennisDummies I know why he is playing it, but after the long Sunshine Double month, the one that makes the most sense to skip is Monte Carlo. I'm sure he will manage his schedule well. The results will dictate a lot.
English

Yep, I definetely think that winning the Sunshine Double and then going for Montecarlo, Madrid, Roma, RG is too much. You have to skip something. Imho the best one to skip is Madrid, but it's just my personal idea about this. Of course he will know better than me what to do, deciding with his team
English

@js1nner Roland Garros is certainly the big prize - Career Slam, exorcising the demons from last year - but I really want to see him win Rome this year

@TunedIntoTennis I've been attending the tournament for 20+ years. The obsession some have w/ Crandon Park is insane. Pain in the neck to get to & the grounds could not support expanding crowd sizes. Hard Rock Stadium Court is awkward but everything else about Hard Rock is better than Crandon.
English

Yall aren’t tired?

I don’t want to sound negative but how much better was Crandon Park than the current one at the Hard Rock Stadium. Can’t help but feel the new set up feels like a building site. We need to have some form of ATP/WTA tennis at Crandon again. 🙏🏽#KeyBiscayne

@JohnMorris1982 Been going to the tournament for 20+ years. The only thing better about Crandon Park was the Center Court viewing experience (it was made for tennis). Traffic access, campus size, facilities, food/drink, etc. all better at Hard Rock. The Stadium Center Court is odd, no doubt.

@causeafteralll As soon as he said that shit, I knew he was going to win both

@CourtRendersAI Nice work but the tournament can't return to Crandon Park. The Matheson Family deed controls the land & they did not want to expand the grounds. Also, there are 2 lanes in/out of Key Biscayne. Very difficult to manage traffic for a tournament that brings in 20-25K fans daily now

What if tennis returned here? 👀

Yo @MiamiOpen we all know the weather is dicey today and you don't control that but MAYBE put some announcement out regarding what the delays may look like?
English

@packetofsoup They need to hire a designer from the Wilson team because they have been killing it in recent years
English

@TennisUpdates26 If rain delays the start of the Women's double, they should move it to Grandstand and play it concurrently with the Men's Final in Stadium. There are probably < 20 people that would care.
English

We waited out rain in last years men's final and it appears we may be doing it again tomorrow.
Also have to get the women's doubles in before it, and that is a real intiriging match as well.

Jannik Sinner after beating Zverev to reach Miami final
“What pleases you more, the level itself that you’ve shown or the fact that you’ve been able to reproduce this level day after day?”
Jannik: “That’s a good question. I don’t know. Two completely different tournaments, different conditions. Coming here trying to produce some good tennis, that was my main goal. Standing again in the final, it means very much to me. Obviously we try to push in a couple of days. But at the same time, in any case, it’s been an incredible swing. Trying to play as many matches as possible, that was my goal. Couldn’t do better. I’m very happy. Today was a very tough encounter. He played some incredible tennis. I was serving very well in the end. Especially in crucial moments. I’m very happy… it means a lot to me.” 🇮🇹❤️
On facing Jiri Lehecka next in the final:
“He’s an incredible player. He’s shown this, not only here in this tournament, but throughout his whole career. A little bit different.. he’s for sure gonna be more free than me. In the same time as I said, I try to control whatever I can control. The rest we’ll see how it goes. We’re gonna play in different conditions. Today was a night match. Most likely we’re gonna play day. Seeing also the weather forecast, we’ll see how that goes. In any case I’m really really happy.” 🇮🇹❤️

@Namucookiee @TheTennisLetter @MiamiOpen Totally agree, but Sunday could be a rainout and Monday not looking any better. Crossing fingers they get the match in Sunday. I'll be there.
English

@KH954 @TheTennisLetter @MiamiOpen Thats just unfair for jannik, if its saturday that means he played 3 consecutive days
