@HappyHooker1157 I've been following your journey. Sending my condolences to you. I lost my Mum a year ago and it's hard to let go and to believe that the caring has ended. Take time for yourself to grieve and heal.

I can’t believe I’m writing this 😢my beautiful mum passed away on Monday morning peacefully.She was in her own home with me at her side.She was 97 and had battled dementia and other medical issues. I am heartbroken 💔 Will be taking a small break from social media…….

A beautiful start to the day for my early #morningwalk and it's so much milder this morning.

A lovely evening walk and I just made it home before the next hail / sleet shower.

One year ago today, we lost my dear Mum. This is her taken on a family holiday in #Sutherland quite a few years ago, but I liked the image. Thanks Mum for everything (Helen) 🙏🙏

A lovely walk before I started work at 1pm today. The wind was bitterly cold, but it was good to see the blue skies in between some heavy hail showers!

@brenda_lakeland Quite right, you could have 'flown' away. It seems calmer now though 🤞🤞

@KHD_2017 I didn't go far, there's a couple of exposed parts on the headland. I didn't want to push my luck wearing a poncho

Felt for the seals and shags/ormorants, battling the wild weather today.

This was the view from my house this morning, so my early morning walk got postponed! I'll have an early #eveningwalk instead, as it has calmed down for now.

@brenda_lakeland I did indeed arrive drive to work and home again dry! It has calmed down for now, but this morning was horrible. This was the view from my window at one point.

@KHD_2017 After a similar start, Oh my word, auto carrot It's does not always need a captain I! it's and now when it does it won't 😬🙄 I digress, it has ceased at the moment almost certainly temporarily. Hope you arrived at work dry Katharine

Dreich, dull, damp, drookit and any other words describing what a horrible start to the day it is. The hills are barely visible, we have strong winds and horizontal rain. It's much cooler too.
