Our girls team did well today as they placed 11th out of 20! We were led by Alaina Thompson as she raced to a PR time of 21:23 followed by Morgan Rakestraw who set a season best time of 24:23! Teagan Dalton also set a big PR with a time of 27:47!Great job lady Kats!! 🔴🔵🏃♀️

Congratulations to Kokomo senior AUBREY SIMMONS on an outstanding third-place finish in the 100 backstroke at the @IHSAA1 Girls State Swimming and Diving Finals at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. Her state finals time of 55.42 was just off the her own school record (55.38) and she was the fastest senior in the event.
Aubrey will graduate as one of the most successful female swimmers in Lady Katfish history. She placed in the IHSAA state finals all four years, including podium finishes as a junior and senior. In her specialty event of the 100 back, Aubrey was an IHSAA Top 10 swimmer FOUR times!
