It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of 15-year-old Academy player, Amelia Aplin. Amelia collapsed during a Girls’ Academy game against Fulham at the Club’s Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon. The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Amelia’s family, friends, teammates and coaches. We would like to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff at both Oxford United and Fulham Football Club, along with the emergency services. The Club will offer support to Amelia’s family, players, coaches and staff impacted by this tragic event. We would ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.

@FBAwayDays Carlisle United, went there with Eastleigh a few months back, welcomed into their fanzone before the game, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere, food and drink in the fanzone

Where is the most welcoming place you’ve ever been to, as a visiting supporter on an away day?
Easy one for me, from the staff at the ground at Exeter City, to the people of Exeter, they were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. 👏

@Jays1403 Maybe Shade wanted to progress and move up the leagues… the price of everything goes up, general bills, running of the club, in any walk of life, prices increase, maybe a situation changed… things happen… and it’s not like we got millions for him like I’m sure people think

@KHall1992 We were told in an interview shade would only leave if a very very good offer was placed or if we have enough time to replace him. Suggesting we have enough funds. What’s that reason I’m an unsure of the reason?

@KHall1992 Sold Shade where’s that money gone? Never replaced him. Sold Taylor where’s that money gone? Never replaced him. Loaned out Macca when he’s out of contact in the summer? Why? when we’re tryna stay up? Todd being DOF for 2 months then vanishing with no explanation.

@KHall1992 I think we’d of stayed up regardless tbh we are 3 wins from safety at most, just don’t understand why we bought Bartlett in to not give him a summer and only let him sign 2 permanent players from his former club, he was helpless

@KHall1992 Remember when we were told he had no involvement with the club anymore? We were lied to! I’d of kept Bartlett till the end of the season. We said the last thing he was appointed as “interim” and it became permanent

@KHall1992 We’ve seen this stituation far too many times, agreed with a lot of what you’ve said but can’t agree with this, wonder how everyone will feel if he wins a couple of games and gets appointed permanently again because that would be beyond a disaster
