@Athorment1 when resources are scarce for a game, experimentation is high, sure. but when they become readily more available, players become less experimental. it feels like no one is willing to expand horizons because "why change what works." and if it doesn't... they blame the game.

People treat fighting games like a numbers game too much that it feels like no one plays by feel anymore. It’s always “how do i set up the safe jump” or “how can i set up a frame kill for plus frames” Not everything needs a set up. Learn how to improv instead.

This is actually the truth. Book 3 of the legend of Korra is actually the best book out of the entire franchise but no one wants to admit it. The dynamic between Korra and Zaheer was top tier. She wants to restore balance and he wants to unleash chaos. That book is 1000000/10

That makes it sound less bad, and opens the door for people to come forward with info in Discord/Twitter DMs to get you the info for the big google doc. There's just so many better ways you could've handled this with less community drama.

I'm hoping the fact we got a 2nd google doc that makes kobe definitively banworthy doesn't end up making people look past how horribly this was mishandled or try to justify "dude just trust me bro" bans going forward since the evidence did pop up later in this occasion.

By the way, I find it amazing that NO ONE is complaining about the mod for Training Mode. Objectively speaking it gives you a massive advantage if you use it wisely, and not everyone has access to it. But in the end, people are just looking for something to blame when they lose.
