If I were a Baltimore journalist, I'd do a story on the extreme amount of white suburban racism. They fill the comments of Baltimore stories. Some of the most vile, violent racist stuff you see. It's worth a story.
There is a city in the middle of the NYC-DC "Acela corridor" called Baltimore that could position itself as a lower-cost, lower-tax destination with a very high quality of life but it is locked into a mentality of decline and subject to a poverty mindset of scarcity.
