Phumtham vows stronger global messaging . Acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai on Wednesday confirmed that Thailand is compiling evidence of Cambodia’s ceasefire violations to present to the international community. . Despite ongoing border clashes, he said Thailand is managing the situation and has refrained from using heavy weapons. . Phumtham, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, declined to comment on speculation about foreign mercenary involvement, citing the sensitivity of the matter. He reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to defending its sovereignty. . In response to criticism over communication shortcomings, Phumtham pledged to improve how Thailand presents its side of the story to the world. He also addressed concerns about Malaysia’s recent military visit to Cambodia, stressing the importance of working directly with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in his role as ASEAN Chair. .
