Fugitives and convicted criminals like Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, and Asif Zardari have had all corruption cases and fake accounts forgiven. I often quote Maulana Rumi who said: ‘When God has given you wings, why do you crawl on the ground like ants?’ Today in Pakistan, justice and democracy have been ruthlessly trampled and law of the jungle prevails. Independent judges have been sidelined, while obedient, state-appointed judges have been pushed forward. The weak and vulnerable now have no recourse, no avenue for redress. It is not nuclear weapons that destroy nations; it is the collapse of moral values that leads to national destruction. What we are witnessing is a shameless and systematic assault on morality and democracy. The inhumane treatment of my wife, inflicted in a bid to break me, is an unprecedented act of depravity in Pakistan’s history. Asim Munir has made this personal now. On his explicit instructions, scheduled weekly meetings between me and my wife have been denied for the past four weeks. Even the most basic human rights afforded to prisoners have been suspended without cause. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf remains the only true federal political party of this country. We are the force that binds the nation. As the largest democratic force, we are committed to uniting the country under the supremacy of the Constitution, rule of law, judicial independence, freedom of expression, and the protection of fundamental human rights. Media has been silenced through the draconian PECA law, and through coercion and bribery in the form of advertisements. After the unlawful 26th constitutional amendment, the 27th amendment is now being introduced with the same aim: to suppress every voice that dares to speak out against ‘His Majesty, the King’. Those who submit will have their cases wiped clean. Those who resist will languish in prison. Independent journalists have been abducted, silenced, or exiled. Their families have been harassed to the point of despair. This is one of the darkest chapters in Pakistan’s journalistic history. Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan’s Conversation – Adiala Jail, June 10, 2025: “Inflation in Pakistan has spiraled out of control since the regime change. It is deeply troubling that this time even the financially stable segments of society were unable to afford the sacrifice of a single goat; they barely managed to uphold the tradition of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi. Meanwhile, the poor have already been crushed under the weight of economic hardship. Now, this illegitimate government is preparing to present a budget that will only further compound the public’s suffering. Once again, two key segments will bear the brunt of this exploitative budget: salaried individuals and farmers. This fake administration has broken the backbone of the agricultural economy and the farming community. In an agrarian country, when farmers are in distress, it directly signals rising unemployment and diminishing purchasing power. The industry, for its part, is already teetering on the brink of collapse. Following the 26th Constitutional Amendment, preparations are now underway for a 27th Amendment, intended to completely bury justice and further dishearten the people. Their aim has been to intimidate us and silence the voice of the people since day one. That is precisely why May 9th (2023) was orchestrated. I am constantly told not to demand CCTV footage of May 9th, to take responsibility for the events that I had no part in, and to accept the fraudulent government formed through Form 47 with merely 17 seats. But my entire struggle has been rooted in the supremacy of law and the Constitution. All legal and constitutional avenues have been blocked for us, which is why I have instructed the party to prepare for a nationwide movement. This mandate was not stolen from me, it was stolen from you. Each one of you must be part of this movement. اڈیالہ جیل میں ناحق قید سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کو ایک ہفتہ قید تنہائی میں رکھنے کے بعد اہل خانہ سے کروائی گئی ملاقات میں گفتگو “عالمی حالات کی وجہ سے میں نے اپنی پارٹی کو تحریک دو ہفتے کے لیے مؤخر کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے- موجودہ عالمی حالات کے اثرات پاکستان پر بھی آئیں گے بلکہ آ رہے ہیں۔ ایسے حالات میں قوم کو متحد ہونے کی ضرورت ہے۔ خیبر پختونخوا کا بجٹ تو پیش کرنا ہی تھا- بجٹ پاس کرنے سے پہلے مشاورت کے لیے علی امین، عمر ایوب، مزمل اسلم، تیمور جھگڑا اور شبلی فراز مجھے بریفنگ دیں گے تب ہی بجٹ پاس ہو گا- وفاقی بجٹ مکمل طور پر اشرافیہ کا بجٹ ہے- جن کے اثاثے باہر ہیں ان پر کوئی اثر نہیں پڑے گا- اس بجٹ کا سارا بوجھ عام عوام، تنخواہ دار طبقے اور کسان پر پڑے گا۔ صرف نواز شریف اور زرداری کے اثاثے باہر نہیں بلکہ انکے وزراء کے بھی اثاثے باہر ہیں- وفاقی بجٹ میں ان لوگوں پر مزید ٹیکس لگا دیا گیا ہے جو ایمانداری سے ٹیکس دے رہے ہیں اور جو ٹیکس چوری کر رہے ہیں ان کو مزید چھوٹ دے دی ہے۔ خبروں کے مطابق 33 لاکھ لوگ پچھلے چند سالوں میں ملک چھوڑ کر گئے ہیں، ان میں سے بیشتر اپنی کوئی مالیت اور اثاثے ساتھ لے کر گئے ہوں گے، یہ صرف برین ڈرین نہیں ہے بلکہ ملکی پیسہ بھی باہر جا رہا ہے کیونکہ یہاں کسی کو تحفظ فراہم نہیں ہے۔ جس کے پاس تین سال پہلے 50 ہزار روپے تھے آج اس کی حیثیت بمشکل 20 ہزار ہے، یہ 60 فیصد مہنگائی ہے۔ کورونا جیسی عالمی وبا اور عالمی معاشی بحران میں ہمارے معاشی اعداد و شمار دیکھیں اور آج دیکھیں- زمین آسمان کا فرق ہے کیونکہ ہماری ساری پالیسز پاکستان کی بہتری اور ترقی کے لیے تھیں- جب “رول آف لاء” نہ رہے تو جمہوریت ختم ہو جاتی ہے، ناانصافی مزید بڑھتی ہے جس کے باعث دہشت گردی میں بھی اضافہ ہوتا ہے، اس سے معیشت مزید نیچے جاتی ہے اور لوگوں میں مایوسی مزید پھیلتی ہے-“

پاکستان میں اس وقت ہائبرڈ نظام نہیں بلکہ “مارشل لأ” اور مکمل ڈکٹیٹر شپ نافذ ہے۔ اس کی واضح مثال صدر ٹرمپ کا شہباز شریف اور زرداری کی بجائے عاصم منیر سے ملاقات کرنا ہے کیونکہ انہیں بھی پتہ ہے کہ تمام اختیارات عاصم منیر کے پاس ہی ہیں- اسی لیے میں بھی کہتا ہوں کہ مذاکرات ان سے ہی ہونے چاہییں جن کے پاس اختیارات ہیں۔ خیبرپختونخوا کے علاقوں میں ڈرون حملے اور معصوم جانوں کا ضیاع انتہائی افسوسناک ہے۔ میں نے پاکستان میں امریکی ڈرون حملوں کے خلاف دنیا بھر میں احتجاج اور مارچ کیے اس معاملے پر میرا موقف دنیا کے سامنے ہے۔ بے گناہوں کا جب بھی قتل ہوتا ہے اس سے دہشتگردی بڑھتی ہے۔ ڈرون حملوں کے ذمہ داروں کے خلاف خیبرپختونخوا کی حکومت ایف آئی آرز درج کروائے۔ خیبر پختونخوا کی عوام نے مجھ پر اعتماد کرتے ہوئے ووٹ دیا- اسی لیے میں نے کہا تھا کہ بجٹ سے پہلے علی امین، مزمل اسلم، عمر ایوب، شبلی فراز اور تیمور جھگڑا آ کر مجھے بجٹ پر بریفنگ دیں- بجٹ پاس کرنے سے پہلے علی امین اور خبیرپختونخوا حکومت کو سپریم کورٹ جانا چاہیئے تھا اور بتانا چاہیئے تھا کہ خیبرپختونخوا کی حکمران جماعت کا سربراہ عمران خان ہے اور ہم نے ان سے بجٹ کے حوالے سے ہدایات لینی ہیں جس کے بغیر IMF بھی بجٹ قبول نہیں کرے گا- اب دوبارہ واضح ہدایت دیتا ہوں کہ خیبرپختونخوا کی حکومت سپریم کورٹ سے رجوع کرے۔ یہ کوئی حتمی بجٹ نہیں ہے۔ مجھ سے وہی مشاورتی ٹیم ملاقات کرے اور پھر جو ترامیم میں بتاؤں ان کو شامل کر کے بجٹ منظور کیا جائے۔ اس وقت جبکہ باقی صوبائی حکومتیں سرپلس بجٹ نہیں دے رہیں تو خیبرپختونخوا کی عوام کے فنڈز سے سرپلس دینا صرف ناجائز وفاقی حکومت کو فائدہ دینے کے مترادف ہے۔ میں خیبرپختونخوا کی عوام کا کسی صورت نقصان نہیں ہونے دوں گا۔ اس مشکل دور میں جب مین سٹریم میڈیا کا گلا گھونٹ دیا گیا ہے یا انہیں خرید لیا گیا ہے، ایسے میں سوشل میڈیا نے جس طرح حق کا علم بلند کر رکھا ہے میں ان کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔ سوشل میڈیا کی وجہ سے ہی عوام کی آواز زندہ ہے“ چئیرمین تحریک انصاف عمران خان کی اڈیالہ جیل میں اہل خانہ سے گفتگو (24 جون، 2025)

“Pakistan does not have a hybrid system, rather a brutal martial law: a complete dictatorship. A clear manifestation of this was President Trump choosing to meet Asim Munir instead of Shehbaz Sharif or Zardari because he knows that Asim Munir holds all the power. That is also why I have always said that negotiations should be with the ones who hold power. The loss of innocent lives in drone attacks in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is extremely tragic. I have protested and marched all over the world against American drone attacks in Pakistan and my stance on this issue is clear and well known. Every time innocent people are killed, terrorism increases. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should register criminal cases (FIRs) against those responsible for these drone attacks. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa placed their trust in me through their votes. That is why I had instructed that Ali Amin, Muzzammil Aslam, Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and Taimur Jhagra must brief me on the budget before its passage. Prior to approving the budget, Ali Amin and the KP government should have approached the Supreme Court and stated unequivocally that the party leading the province is headed by Imran Khan, and it is from him that guidance on budgetary matters must be sought, without which even the IMF will not accept the budget. I issue a clear directive once again: the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government must petition the Supreme Court. This budget is not final. My designated consultative team must meet with me, and the budget should only be passed after incorporating the amendments that I specify. While other provincial governments are not presenting surplus budgets, offering a surplus from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's funds serves only to benefit the illegitimate federal government. I will not allow the people of KP to be harmed under any circumstances.
