Mrs. Phipps' 4th Graders at @FSESFriendship were hard at work this Monday morning on a Building Thinking Classroom task! Amazing use of math tools to support their understanding of division! Way to go, 4th Grade!

Mr. Pagan’s 5th graders are building fluency w/ fractions using a @SteveWyborney fraction Splat! Ss are given a total & a part & have to determine the part that is covered. Terrific conversations & justifications came from Mr. Pagans questions! @basswood_es @KISDMathSquad

Congratulations to Mrs. Atchley’s class for completing the Greg Tang Math challenge! They finished 80th out of almost 1,000 k-5 students. In the 3rd grade group, they finished 19th out of 415!!! So proud of your dedication!!
