the bookclub is here to provide real value to the prop trading game. that is the goal and the mission.

I split it up like this. a. Prop firm stuff b. Prop firm stuff + trading stuff for a. I think I can be a resource as I relate to many of the obstacles that held me back at points. gain some perspective and pick it up. apply it and take more payouts. for b. i'm an alright trader. i've made some money in markets (knock on wood). been doing this thing for almost 7 years. i share some thoughts/charts/possible positioning.

so i wrote a book. hand selected 30 failure points and areas where I can give my own nuanced advice/thoughts on. then, i grouped them into 'sections' by logically progression. more 'mindframe' chapters early, execution middle, scaling and progression to end. decided to release a chapter every trading day. that way its not info overload and more applicative.

i want to separate myself from other "trading influencers." i'm not interested in teaching you how to trade a-z. everything you could possibly want to learn is online and free. i have never paid anyone to teach me trading. also would recommend never pay anyone to teach you trading. where paid resources come in is access to real valuable information that is 'actionable' in your 'niche'. **this could range from sector research teams looking for the most valuable news/predictions/reporting sources or even things like ecom, ads, tiktok, etc. ** and i think that is the most important part: "actionable" why would you sell something that you haven't acted on yourself? reminds me of selling algos or indicators. if you have this holy grail that prints, why sell it? (oh wait the algo is the product ) in the case of prop firms, you are capacity constricted on the individual level.

this started by me thinking and journalling some thoughts down about different intricacies of prop firms. it was pretty interesting to me to break down what each firm was "incentivizing" vs "disincentivizing". from there constructing a plan to trade to incentives and avoid "disincentives" as infrequent as possible. led me on this little journey where i had figured out how to "win" on every prop firm. *****this is no bot, hedging bs, algo, secret unknown strat, whatever bs**** i don't think im qualified to talk too much in the trading realm. there are a lot better traders out there. and im not talking other prop traders, im talking real bigger fish traders. humility goes a long way here. but where i can have authority to teach is in futures prop trading space. it is about adapting your trading to the model which is often misunderstood. fail to recognize -> fail to understand -> plan to fail.
