Since I'm really pushing my script swaps/notes to #screenwritingtwitter but haven't been writing, I'll share the deep dive threads I did about some of my work last year! Hopefully it helps you get to know what my writing process was like once upon a time.

even though the characters could solve it on the 5th or 6th loop. It's absolutely maddening so I'll also be re-reading The X-Files' time loop episode 'Monday'. Fun fact, the spec is tentatively titled 'Tuesday' as an ode to The X-Files episode!

I also didn't expect to have a time loop be so difficult to write but it's the making sure the characters don't solve the loop as quickly that's throwing me off. The loop happens ~20 times in this script, so I need 20 reasons to get to the same event that causes the loop--

Well, I didn't finish because there is a lot of chaos in my personal life that's keeping most of my attention but we're doing #firstpagefriday for my #911onABC time loop spec anyways. Again, not an actual official script, I just decided to be That Girl™️ and wrote another spec.

Can I finish less than 20 pages before Thursday so I can debut the first page of this spec by Friday? Who knows!

I saw someone wearing a parka today. It is 15 degrees and sunny with a light breeze. This is not parka weather.

I’ve really spiralled back into the “what’s the point” attitude that had me stop writing this time last year so I feel very accomplished to even add a few pages.

Ready to lose a follower for saying my time loop spec is almost 40 pages finally!

I reread what was my favourite script I've ever written and I fear I will never experience that love I once had for my work ever again. I mean, it's actually a garbage script and I made the mistake of being delusionally self confident about it, but the feeling was nice!

I could never apply to this because having to spend eight months in the US and not be paid/receive a stipend is CRIMINAL, but I can't help but notice that despite it being open to non-US citizens, your only options for your address are a state and zip code.

Me, trying to figure out if the followers I'm losing are the bots disappearing or if I've done something to drive people away.

The people yearn for a time loop episode.

@LisaLueyLutes Only six months but I haven't finished anything in over a year now! Do you record your ideas somewhere? I do a quick and dirty outline if I get an idea I really like but I'm focused on something else!

@KJelleebean That's only 6 months! I just hold myself to ridiculous standards because I have too many ideas to keep up with them!!

Been slogging through the same feature for months, but not willing to throw in the towel yet, after having 2/3 features die on the vine last year. Maybe I'll make a comeback and save all 3?

We're roughly 35 pages in with a goal of somewhere between 55-57 pages!

I'm going to jinx myself and say I (may) have finally found the rhythm to my second #911onABC spec script so I'm going to share a little piece of the draft. Ignore the line where language escaped me and I was incapable of writing about them hearing a door open.
