Anyone else having issues with the scoreboard on @espn not displaying correctly when turned in landscape mode on a phone? It was like this last weekend as well.

Brooks on Lawrence’s second half: “You can’t substitute for experience.”

Brooks mentions how his mom, who was in attendance tonight, used to work multiple jobs to allow him to play AAU ball. “Now she gets to come here and reap some of the benefits. She’s going to love Lexington. The way that BBN embraces the program… I think she’s going to stay.”

Brooks: “It’s been fun watching them grow… they’ve formed into this well-oiled machine… I just let them talk.” “This is a very smart team.”

Brooks: “We’ll talk about a play or how we’ll want to defend it and I will see them huddled up and talking amongst themselves, and I’ll let it go… because I’m never on the floor. They’re the ones that have to go out and execute it.”

Brooks likens Amoore in the early season to “a Ferarri in a neighborhood” “She just wanted to rev it up and go, go, go.”

Brooks on rebounding vs. more physical teams: “I don’t think there’s a more physical team than Auburn… the physicality part, they didn’t lose any of those kids.”

Amoore: “If we keep building towards… a good home crowd, it can really make a great team brilliant.”

Amoore on being embraced by the fanbase: “I think we’ve been doing our job and getting solid wins… to have consecutive games of pretty much nearly 20 point wins is phenomenal for SEC play.”

Brooks says the program celebrates Clara Strack day like they celebrate Christmas.

Brooks: Really good win for us… I thought Georgia did a phenomenal job of handling the pressure. We need to rebound the ball better… we couldn’t get into a full rhythm in the second half.
