@Mwirigi The worst captive app I have ever used. What's the need is forcing one to use a Safaricom SIM card only Internet? Interestingly, even its own Safaricom Home Internet is rejected. Proceeding to uninstall.

Spur-winged Lapwing (Vanellus spinosus). This is one of the most common and conspicuous waders you will encounter along the alkaline lakes of the Rift Valley. They are famously protective of their nests (which are just simple scrapes in the ground) and will aggressively dive-bomb anything—from humans to large herbivores—that gets too close. #birdsofkenya #birdphotography #baringocounty #LakeBogoria #birdsofinstagram

This vibrant bird is a Lilac-breasted Roller (Coracias caudatus). It is widely considered the unofficial national bird of Kenya due to its stunning, multicolored plumage, which includes around eight different colours. Why the name "Roller"? They are named for their spectacular aerial displays during courtship, where they fly to great heights and then dive toward the ground while "rolling" and rocking from side to side. #birdwatching #birdsofkenya #birdphotography #baringocounty #LakeBogoria

Lesser Flamingos (Phoeniconaias minor). Fun Fact: The pink color of their feathers isn't genetic—it actually comes from carotenoid pigments found in the algae they eat. Without this specific diet, their feathers would eventually turn white. Interesting Fact: The sheer number of flamingos at Lake Bogoria can sometimes exceed one million birds, making it one of the most famous avian spectacles in the world. #birdwatching #birdsofkenya #birdphotography #baringocounty #LakeBogoria #birdsofinstagram #KenyaTravel #birdphotography #baringocounty

The Best Shot: Head to the shores near Kampi ya Samaki at sunrise. You’ll see the fishermen heading out into the golden mist. The drone shot of the Lkadich against the water is one of the most famous images of Baringo. Made of the Ambatch wood (the "Unsinkable" wood) is so porous and air-filled, these boats can be bitten by a crocodile or bumped by a hippo and they still won't sink. They are essentially a floating life-raft made of sticks. #landscapes #landscapephotography #dronephotography #lakebaringo #loruk #camping #sunsets #sunrise #dawn #baringocounty

A Glimpse into Deep Time! The Netbon Kudu Campsite in the Majo Moto locality of Lake Bogoria is located in an area known for its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity and which offers a sanctuary for nature lovers. Imagine waking up to the sounds of the wild, exploring rugged terrain, and witnessing breathtaking sunsets over the Great Rift Valley. It is an experience that connects one deeply with nature. Within the campsite you can check out this incredible leaf fossil! 🍂 Embedded in ancient rock, this isn't the original leaf material itself, but a perfect natural impression, or mold, left behind after the organic matter decayed. And also, what appears to white snail seashell found among other fossils such as a skull of a carnivore and femur of an elephant from an era long gone and all discovered in the geological formation around the area. #Majimoto #NetbonKudu #LakeBogoria #Kenya #KenyaCamping #MagicalKenya #NatureLovers #NatureEscape #CampingAdventures #RiftValleyViews #LandscapePhotography #MobilePhotography #Pixel #BaringoCounty #UntamedBeauty

Tucked away in the scenic Kiplombe Community Conservancy in Baringo, Kenya, lies the captivating Parliament Cave. This natural wonder is famous for its incredible "baboon parliament," a daily spectacle where baboons gather at sunset in structured chambers—an upper one for elders and a lower for the young—showcasing a fascinating level of social organization and communication. Beyond the baboons, the conservancy boasts a rich history, serving as a shrine and hiding place during the Mau Mau war. Visitors can also explore other unique sites like the Ntosheke Gorge, Caldera Crater, and the stunning views from Kiplombe Mountain. It's a haven for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike! #PhonePhotography #Pixel #LandscapePhotography #ParliamentCave #KiplombeCommunityConservancy #Baringo #Kenya #TembeaKenya #WildlifeWednesday #NatureLovers #HiddenGems #ExploreKenya

Step into history at Rhino Cave (Ngenda) in Kiplombe Community Conservancy, Baringo County, Kenya 🦏🌿 – a natural salt lick and bathing spot where black rhinos once roamed freely. Though the mighty rhinos are gone, their legacy echoes in these ancient walls, reminding us of Kenya's epic conservation triumphs. The Eastern Black rhinos were relocated from the Kiplombe area to Lake Nakuru National Park. The region hosted a population until the 1970s, when the remaining specimens were translocated there amid widespread poaching pressures across Kenya.Explore hidden caves, stunning cliffs, and breathtaking highlands – adventure awaits! #RhinoCave #KiplombeConservancy #KenyaWildlife #ConservationLegacy #LandscapePhotography #Muserechi #BaringoCounty #Hiking
