I see a lot of judgment on here about how long someone “should” step away from social media, wrestling, or work when they say they need space. When something hits suddenly, it can feel like the whole world is against you and in that moment, quitting feels real. Some people find their footing in an hour. Some need days, months, or years. If someone has the courage to pull themselves out of a dark place and keep going, maybe be grateful they had the support or the strength to do it at all no matter the timeline. 🖤

I suppose I’ll address the elephant in the room as we end the year: As some of you are aware of by now - in late 2024, All Elite Wrestling filed trademarks for both WrestleMax and AEW WrestleMax. Obviously this took us by surprise, and we decided to put any plans we had on hold until this issue was resolved. Long story short: as of a couple months ago, AEW has officially withdrawn their trademark applications.  Eric, Noah and myself have had a few good chats about what we’d like to do with WrestleMax moving forward, but my youngest son has a very invasive surgery coming up, and the only thing currently on my priority list is being a present father. I’m a firm believer in divine timing and I know when the time is right, we’ll continue giving you an experience only WrestleMax can deliver.  Until then - I hope all of you have a happy, healthy, prosperous new year and we’ll see you all in 2026 🥂
