This is a great resource to explain how the new #TitleIX Rule ensures both parties are treated fairly in sexual harassment cases, by guaranteeing them a consistent, predictable, and reliable grievance process.
ED Civil Rights@EDcivilrights

TODAY, OCR released a new webinar that explains how the many new protections in the #TitleIX Rule safeguard the right of all individuals to be treated fairly in sexual harassment cases. www2.ed.gov/about/offices/…

We have made great progress since Title IX was enacted 48 years ago, but more remains to be done. Great work done by @EDCivilRights to continue to combat sexual harassment across our nation’s schools.
ED Civil Rights@EDcivilrights

Today, we celebrate the 48th Anniversary of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX remains the most consequential civil rights legislation ever enacted with regard to sex discrimination in education. www2.ed.gov/about/offices/…

Too often #OCR investigations reveal that schools are failing to ensure basic #TitleIX protections for their students. The Final Rule provides long-awaited clarity and the tools schools need to satisfy their obligations under Title IX.
ED Civil Rights@EDcivilrights

1/4 Today marks a historic day for @usedgov and #OCR. For the first time ever, the Final Rule defines sexual harassment and sexual assault as unlawful sex discrimination under #TitleIX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
