There is a huge misconception when people claim it only takes 5 minutes to fill up a gas tank versus charging an EV. Here are the key considerations: 1. The typical time spent at a gas pump is 8–9 minutes, but it varies: - Circle K: 8.9 minutes - Sheetz: 11.5 minutes - Wawa: 11.4 minutes - Buc-ee’s: 20.3 minutes 2. Filling up requires driving to the station, which can take 10–45 minutes depending on your location and the nearest station. 3. Oil changes and maintenance take time and money (even if you do them yourself, you still have to buy oil and perform the work). EVs eliminate this entirely. 4. Home charging takes seconds to plug in, and you wake up to a full charge the next day. 5. In March, I spent $9 on electricity while current gas prices are $3.49/gallon—a savings of over $60 in fuel for the month. 6. Adding up time and money saved over a year comes to roughly 15–30 hours and over $750, and I don’t even drive that much. EV’s save you time and money and once you have one you’ll never go back to gas.

Gerade in dieser Jahreszeit ist es für mich schwierig, an 2010 zu denken und an den langen Kampf, bis die Schuld der Täterin zweifelsfrei festgestellt wurde strafakte.de/strafprozess/s… Für mich ist es bestürzend, so oft meinen Namen unter Postings zu #Ulmen zu lesen und gegen meinen Willen als lebender Beleg dafür herzuhalten, dass es Falschbeschuldigungen gibt. Ich lehne das ab und fordere Sie dazu auf, allen Frauen mit Respekt zu begegnen, die sexualisierte und andere Gewalt anzeigen. Es ist zwar für mich einerseits positiv, dass bei vielen Menschen angekommen ist, dass ich Opfer einer Falschbeschuldigung wurde. Dass ich aber dadurch grundsätzlich und in jedem Fall zu einem argumentativen Hindernis gemacht werden soll, wenn Frauen Gewalterfahrungen anzeigen und diese unter einen Generalverdacht gestellt werden, dass es "womöglich wie beim Kachelmann" war, ist abseitig und falsch. Meine Solidarität gilt immer den Opfern, wo sie auch immer sind. Was mir passiert ist, lässt sich nicht verallgemeinern. Lassen Sie mich raus. Danke.

@leRaffl Current tax incentives may be skewed, but the best way forward is clearly to make electricity cheap and available, while slowly raising taxes on gasoline, and certainly not implementing mandatory charging every 500 kilometers! Incentives work; Norway PHEV electric use at ~50%.

Scheiß Kommunisten! Spanien hat gestern eine Reihe von 80 Maßnahmen (mit einem Gesamtbudget von 5 Milliarden Euro) zur Bekämpfung der Auswirkungen des Krieges im Nahen Osten beschlossen. Hauptmaßnahme ist eine Absenkung der Energiesteuern von 21% auf 10% für Strom, Gas & Kraftstoffe. An der Zapfsäule wird sich der Liter Benzin dadurch um 30 Cent verbilligen, was einer Ersparnis von rund 20 Euro pro Tankfüllung eines Mittelklassefamilienwagens entspricht. Aus deutscher Sicht ist daran praktisch ALLES erstaunlich: - Eine am Freitag getroffene Ministerratsentscheidung kann am FOLGETAG in Kraft treten? Ist so was nicht verboten? - Waaaas? Man kann Steuern auch SENKEN? - Wieeee? Man kann öffentliches Geld auch FÜR BÜRGER ausgeben? - Häääää? Eine Regierung kann den Menschen das Leben einfach auch LEICHTER machen, anstatt es ihnen ständig zu erschweren? - Und warum füllt diese Meldung in Frankreich ganze Fernsehberichte & Zeitungsseiten, während in Deutschland nur eine (ärgerlich unvollständige) Kleinstmeldung der dpa kursiert? Übrigens: Wenn das die „populistische“ Maßnahme des „Kommunisten“ Sanchez ist: was glauben Sie, wer ist unterm Strich besser dran: ein Spanier mit seinem „Kommunisten“ - oder Sie mit „Merz“? Und: Wie erklären Sie es sich, dass es in der EU eine Regierung gibt, die unter allen denkbaren Umständen einfach intelligenter und würdevoller handelt als Ihre eigene?

Ich bin nur Fahrer – aber ich sehe jeden Tag, was es bedeutet, wirklich in die Zukunft zu investieren. ​Während ich überall das Gejammer über 2-Euro-Diesel und die böse Politik höre, sehe ich bei uns im Betrieb das Gegenteil: Mein Chef macht uns gerade unabhängig von Krisen und fossilen Brennstoffen. ​Mir sagen ständig Leute von außerhalb, warum das alles gar nicht funktionieren kann ,zu wenig Reichweite, schlechte Infrastruktur, zu teuer. Ich kann darüber nur lächeln, denn ich sehe jeden Tag, dass es funktioniert. Wir fahren. This is the case for new customers as well as existing customers. On top, the investments listed above will lead to further falling electricity prices in Germany and thats the case while the total costs of living are compared to Europe about in the middle.

The power blackout in 🇪🇸 Spain and 🇵🇹 Portugal in April 2025 did NOT happen because of renewables but because of a badly designed grid. The chair of ENTSO-E's board was unequivocal: "the issue is not about renewables" but about the grid's ability to manage fast voltage variations.
