It's another positive day in the GCSE and A Level exam series. After an 8am exam booster lesson, followed by words of advice and support from our subject leads, our Year 11 History and Year 13 Psychology and Business Studies students are exam ready this morning.

Three of our Year 11 students are at the top of the school's PiXL leaderboard this week. The PiXL Maths App is a powerful resource that has shown to make huge gains in pupil performance and is invaluable for revision. Encourage your child use the app - they'll be glad they did!

We teach facts by creating memorable experiences because when learning is enjoyable, it is easier to create strong memory connections. In their science lessons this week our Year 7 students learned about the moon and its phases with Oreo biscuits 😊

Fuelled with bacon and sausage sandwiches, hash browns, cereal bars, fresh fruit, juice and pastries, our Year 11 maths students are exam ready after all their hard work and extra maths booster session this morning. You've got this Year 11 👍

Mr Brand's Year 11 tutees received their commemorative tutor group t-shirts today. Showcasing the school's colours, and tie dyed by the students themselves, the t-shirts display their class name and leaver year - 11CBD 2026.

Our Sixth Form students have been practising their stove and cooking skills today in preparation for the upcoming expedition to Hadrian's Wall.
