Thank you very much! In my reply I was referring to @JavierGomaL, who has developed a complete theory of exemplarity from the field of moral and political philosophy. It has not (yet!) been translated into English, but I believe his work would be truly appreciated by all those who, like you, work in depth on character education and values. @WFULawSchool and @WaketheArts students reflected on participating in a legal ethics simulation last semester. The law students got to exercise their communication skills, and the acting students got a chance to use their talents in a practical way outside of performance.

2025 Research Year in Review. Very grateful for how the year turned: My next general audience book is forthcoming: The Honesty Crisis: Preserving Our Most Treasured Virtue in an Increasingly Dishonest World. Out in May. 4 papers appeared and 11 scheduled to appear next year. 3 book reviews and 2 pieces for Forbes. 1 large grant proposal submitted. Thankful for the opportunity to think and write, and grateful for all the support from my family, department, and friends in the profession.
