@KMWells33 @AndrewStoeten Just want to make you aware, as your line of comments seems to indicate you are not, the last time pitchers hit full time in the NL, the pitch clock had not been introduced. So by being given extra time Ohtani is being given a competitive advantage.

Right fielders were not.

It’s ok for there to be drawbacks and limitations on employing a unicorn, the sport doesn’t need to make it frictionless

No he's not. It ain't like he has to put catchers gear on. Pitchers had to hit for over a 100 years with no problem. MLB shouldn't change the rules to coddle ohtani
