Finished with some mods for now. Includes removing reversal throws, removing the forced dash duration/dash start up, classic CD's, walk speed increases etc... Partially customisable, but if playing online both players need to have the same mods.

In terms of difficulty the problem is most of the trial combos are just that: trials. They were made to be difficult. Most of the difficult ones are insanely inefficient and much harder than the combos people should do. XIII is one of few "modern" games where that's the case.

Maybe scalding maybe lukewarm take depending on who you ask but as someone who's been getting into KOF over the past year or two I genuinely think XIII is the single most overhyped game in the series in terms of overall difficulty. Honestly maybe the genre period.

@AfroDouble Using .dll mods(as opposed to LUA) you can directly interfere with the game system in memory as and before it's writing. The hard part is you need to RE the game to know how, when and where these writes occur in memory.
