Freshman play like freshman. Until the team stops relaying mostly on freshman, they won’t win a title..2015 was an anomaly, not the norm anymore. My biggest gripe with his coaching style is Scheyer has no emotion. Mr Rogers on the sideline. He can’t win it all if he doesn’t change something. Unless he changes his roster strategy. Preparation and X&Os McNamara, Pitino, and Hurley ran circles around him because they are overall better coaches. At end of day no one should be attacked personally because he’s just a guy trying to do his job. He’s just not an elite coach. He’s good. But it’s Duke…choking at the end isn’t a banner. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is why he’s only a good coach. You can’t win in college with a freshman majority team. Look at who’s left. They have freshman but waaay more upperclassmen than Duke. He’s got to change or the powers that be needs to make a change.

I fully expect Chandler to remain at UK (as of now), but I also have been hearing for weeks that it won’t come easily as some suspect. Retention is more important than some suspect. Yes, Kentucky’s top players will come from the portal/HS, but you need role players to return.
