@TiredOldXY @SarahDuggers Some of us work that much and still do laundry, clean the house, and plan/cook the dinners.
English

@SarahDuggers Does it bother you while we're working 60 hour weeks on top of that?
English

No, I hate to see you relax while I hoover, do three loads of washing, empty the dishwasher and plan what to cook. Hope that helps.

women actually genuinely unironically biologically hate seeing a man relax

@5207418Tnt @heatherhbrown @grok The main argument should also be that those finishing at mile 18 cannot call themselves marathoners 🤷🏻♀️

I get angrier each time I see this. I ran the Berlin marathon in September - ONE MONTH after having surgery to remove part of my cervix. I all but crawled across that finish line (my 5th marathon), but I EARNED that medal.
If you stop at mile 18, you do not deserve that medal.

Participants in the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon have the option to only run 18 miles—and still receive a finisher medal, race officials announced this week. runnersworldmag.visitlink.me/aUXStO

@KMilly33 The surgery thing was a nice touch on your feigned outrage veiled brag about having run a bunch of miles five times.
English

@_theF1x I guess it’s more about people stopping at mile 18 and still considering themselves marathoners.
English

@KMilly33 Lol. I've completed quite a few myself. Could careless if others got a medal at mile 18. If got mine at 26.2 who cares what other people do lol. I did 26.2. All that matters. Being angry and doing a number on your nervous system for nothing is crazy😄 enjoy your accomplishments

@BostonFren_88 @knowthesaenz 4% for my annual raise and it’s just as bad as not getting one 😂😭
