K9 Bane

Been one heck of a week for Ofc Alstrom and K9 Bane! This team was first used to safely apprehend a dangerous suspect who had just stolen a taxi cab, then capped things off by taking a large quantity of meth off the streets of Kearney. Great police work! @KPDK9BANE @KearneyPolice

It was a great work week for Officer Alstrom and K9 Bane. It started by assisting the ESU Team serve a high risk felony warrant, during which the suspect fled on foot. @KPDK9BANE was able to safely apprehend the suspect, brining a peaceful resolve to a dangerous situation.

On Monday @KearneyPolice officers were called to a shoplifting at Menards, where the suspect fled on foot. Ofc. Alstrom deployed @KPDK9BANE who tracked the suspect and located him hiding between two fences. A 42 year old Kearney man was arrested as a result.

On 07/31/22 @KearneyPolice @KPDK9BANE assisted the @BuffaloCountySO with a burglary in progress call. Bane was able to track the suspect nearly a 1/4 mile, who was hiding in a ditch. A 60 year old WI man was arrested safely as a result. Atta boy Bane!
