P6R are excited to start P7 after the summer 🌟.

We’re so excited that we managed to get pizza for Thursday as a reward for our hard work in our Grow £5 project. Unfortunately we could not get delivery on Tuesday as hoped, email to parents coming tomorrow! 😋

If you’ve got a maths problem, P6R will solve it! ✅ Today the children had fun using their problem solving skills in groups. We even had a little game of number countdown as brain teaser to start. 🌟 #mathsisfun #problemsolving

Production time! Today I had the pleasure of observing the production line. All of P6 have worked so hard to make these sweetie mixes and I couldn’t be prouder! Wee superstars 🌟 #KPS #Grow£5

Should school uniform be banned? P6R debated reasons for and against the banning of school uniform. #debate

Debating skills ✅ We split into four groups and prepared answers using persuasive vocabulary. We then debated our views successfully, with everyone hearing each other out and waiting to counterpoint with our own opinions.

Our Grow £5 project is going well! We have been investigating profit margins and how to create a successful advertising campaign. Why not try a bag of “Magic Sweets”! 🍫🍬🍭

This is one of our volcanoes erupting! We compared different types of lava and found out which one gave off the best eruption 🌋 #STEM #STEMEDUCATION

Our Natural Disasters topic is coming along nicely. We recently got to erupt our model volcanoes, we found out that vinegar and bicarbonate was the best lava! #STEM

Sports Day yesterday was so much fun, thank you to everyone who organised it! 🌟🏃‍♀️🏃

Introducing our new numeracy topic Shape and movement! We learned about 2D shape properties, and then used the shape race game to test our knowledge. 🌟

We enjoyed Future X yesterday, lots of fun games were played.

On Thursday we had a great time with the park ranger. We learned about prey and predators.

On Thursday we had a taster session of cricket for Health Week. Safe to say everyone had a ball and loved it 🌟
