@Xx_WiReD_xX Agreed. Closely watching call/put ratio. The heavy volume flooding into the $2 calls expiring tomorrow is genuinely interesting. With that being said most probable scenario is Judas swing- aligned with that thought.

@KP_Mindset I can see an open with a judas swing to the downside tomorrow, but from there we should see new highs. From my perspective the market has been consolidating and normalizing this whole week.

If $AMC can hold at $1.50-$1.55 IMO projected gamma-driven price zone this week would be $1.90-$2.40. Math behind this: ~Approx MM Hedge Estimate Strike: $1.50 ~3.0-3.5 Million shares Strike: $2.00 ~2.5-4.0 Million shares Strike: $2.50 ~1.5-2.0 Million shares Potential forced buying: 7-10 million shares.

That gamma hedging wall at $1.50–$1.55 (roughly 3–3.5M shares at $1.50 strike + 2.5–4M at $2.00 + 1.5–2M at $2.50) creates real forced-buy pressure north of 7–10M shares if it holds. @sarcastic_hedgi @KP_Mindset From what I learned, the shorts that drove the price up in 2021 were hedges and they were not trapped, albeit doubters outside of that got burned. This is about credit cycles, strategic corporate management, and other factors. A perfect storm per se.

What’s going on with $AMC is genuinely interesting. I was around in 2021 and turned $700 into $72k in ~40 days (peak to breakdown). We’re only on day 9 now. Heavy dilution will cap some of the crazy numbers people are throwing out, but the call/put ratio, social sentiment, and recent box office strength (record Easter weekend) make this worth watching. Sit and wait—don’t full port options, and definitely don’t make this your first short (especially on RH). It has a habit of biting shorts in the ass.

The dilution's structured, for the most part, and will likely take part in stages while settling the collared forward near the end of the run. The move will likely unwind to a predetermined target set by bondholders, but I would assume it will have a controlled blow-off top. I see the first leg entering the 4Y PO3 lower ranges.

The battle of $1.50 …punch thru that and it’s possible to gamma squeeze due to ITM options. Unfortunate reality folks don’t understand that ITM options is what will push this up. Buying OTM options is a lotto ticket you will lose 90% of the time. $AMC

Hence the “Sit and Wait” I don’t disagree with your statement. Mechanics are key- Short interest is declining, Borrow rate is manageable, and price action seems to be controllable and liquid. The Call/Put ratio is an interesting one to me and could drive a potential gamma squeeze but not to the values Individuals are expecting. This would act as a multiplier, not a trigger.
