30. julija 1942 so partizani ubili #Franca Guzelja iz Lavrovca v Polho- Poboj v Loški dolini grajskih Dolomitih in njegovega sina #Jožeta, 9. 8. so ubili še njegovo ženo #Marjano; hčerka #Albina je ranjena obležala, vendar je preživela. Ko so 30. julija v Potoku ugrabili 8 ljudi in jih nato umorili nad Kajndolom/Kajndol je zaselek, ki se nahaja na nadmorski višini 466 metrov. blizu Smrečja/ , sta bila med njimi tudi oče Franc in sin Jože Guzelj z Lavrovca. 9. avgusta so se morilci ustavili na domu Guzeljevih v Lavrovcu in streljali na mater Marjano in hčerko Albino. Mati je umrla, hči pa je bila »le« ranjena in je preživela. druzina.si/clanek/genocid… sl: Šentjošt, pogreb domačinov, ki so jih pri Kajndolu v začetku avgusta 1942 umorili partizani, izkopali pa vaški stražarji. Six months of Bruno waiting at the door with the specific patience of a dog who knows the list says morning and trusts that morning will happen because she said it would. Some mornings I get dressed on autopilot. Some mornings I don't remember deciding to get up. I just find myself at the door with my coat on and Bruno's leash in my hand. She knew. She knew me better than I knew myself and she wrote it down and she signed it don't argue with the list and she was right she was always right she was right about this the way she was right about everything. My son saw us this morning on his run. He called me after. He couldn't finish a sentence. Neither could I. So we just stayed on the phone for a while breathing in each other's ears the way you do when words are not the right size for what you are feeling. She put me on a leash, honestly. Bruno's leash. And I have never been more grateful to be exactly where I am supposed to be at exactly 6:30am on a February morning that I would not have gotten up for on my own. Number 7. She saved me with number 7. Drop a ❤️ for her. She planned everything. Right down to the morning walks. Right down to us.

This morning, I lost my mom to a sudden heart attack, and I'm still struggling to believe she's gone. It feels like a nightmare. She wasn't just my mother—she was my everything, my greatest source of love, strength, and guidance. My heart is broken beyond words. Rest in peace, Mom. You will always be loved and deeply missed.

My friends, our prayers have been answered! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🙏💙 My daughter developed a major complication with her pregnancy last night. They induced labor this morning in hope she would be able to deliver naturally. The stress became too much for the little one. They did an emergency C section tonight. Now I can proudly say, the newest addition to the Rug Gallery has arrived! I'm a overly proud Grand Dad of our first Rugrat! A beautiful baby boy. Mom and the little guy are doing well. My son in law looks like he could use a stiff drink. Anyone who knows me knows how much I've been looking forward to this. I've been dealing with some major health issues that have snowballed over the last three years. My one hope was to have a grandbaby. All of my prayers have been answered. Every child on Earth is a new gift from God. I've been blessed!
