🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱 The Wall Street Journal just dropped a bombshell report on the inside story of the Iran war... The key revelations: Trump used to call the Middle East "blood and sand" and wanted nothing to do with it. Then Netanyahu gave him a "persuasive February briefing" in the Situation Room, backed by repeated calls from Lindsey Graham, and Trump changed his mind. He thought it would be as easy as Venezuela. Trump was "in awe" of the scale of the bombs, watching clips of explosions every morning. But he did "little to sell the American public on the war" and grew frustrated when he didn't get praised for it. His own team showed him midterm polling that proved the war was dragging down Republican candidates. He "quickly began ruminating on how the military action could turn into a catastrophe." On the Strait: Trump told his team before the war that Iran would "likely capitulate before closing the strait." His advisers were "caught off guard" that tanker traffic stopped so quickly. Trump later "marveled at the ease with which the strait was closed," saying "a guy with a drone can shut it down." By late March, before the F-15 was even shot down, Trump ordered his team to find a way to start talks. The war was already over in his mind weeks before the ceasefire. His aides begged him to stop doing impromptu interviews because he was contradicting himself publicly. He agreed to stop, then went right back to calling reporters. The April 1 address to the nation was Susie Wiles' idea to "reassure the country Trump had a plan." Trump didn't want to do it because, in his own words, he couldn't declare victory and didn't know where it was going. This report paints a picture of a president who was talked into a war by Netanyahu and Graham, realized it was a mistake within weeks, spent the rest of the conflict looking for the exit, and was frustrated that nobody would give him credit along the way. The war was an impulse, sold by an ally with different objectives, enabled by advisers who couldn't say no, and sustained by a president who was too proud to admit the mistake until the economy forced his hand.

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards" to "A whole civilization will die tonight"... the real story behind Trump's two most shocking posts The WSJ's inside account finally reveals what was happening when Trump sent the posts that stunned the world. Six hours before the Easter morning Hormuz post, at 2 AM, he'd received word that the second F-15 airman had been rescued from Iran after a 24-hour operation that could have turned into the lowest point of his presidency. Trump wasn't even in the Situation Room during the rescue. Aides deliberately kept him out because they believed his impatience would hurt the operation. He got updates by phone. He finally went to bed after 2 AM. Six hours later, he was back at it. "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell." With "Praise be to Allah" added on Easter morning. Republican senators and Christian leaders flooded the White House with calls. Why the F-word? Why an Islamic prayer on Easter? An adviser asked him about it. Trump said the Allah idea was his own. He wanted to sound "as unstable and insulting as possible" because he thought it would bring Iran to the table. The language, he said, the Iranians would understand. Then he asked aides: "How's it playing?" Three days later came the civilization-ending post. Also improvisational. Also not part of any national security plan. Rubio privately told others the language might actually work. Ninety minutes before the deadline, Trump announced the ceasefire. The madman theory of diplomacy, running live on Truth Social. Chaos as strategy. Profanity as policy. And somehow, 10 days later, the war is closer to ending than anyone thought possible... Source: WSJ

Trump claims that if Iran had nuclear weapons, it would have wiped out Italy in two minutes. The only reason he, and others, can peddle this kind of nonsense is that Iran has committed one unforgivable sin: it has been the most consistent and outspoken state supporter of the Palestinian cause. For that, it has endured a decades-long campaign of demonization so relentless and pervasive that even the most outlandish claims now sound almost reasonable. Ask for empirical evidence that Iran has ever intended to destroy Western civilization, and they’ll reflexively point to its support for Palestine. Press harder, and they pivot to Iran’s forceful acts of self-defense, then invite you to fantasize about what it “might have done” with nuclear weapons. “Look how it’s firing missiles at Israel—imagine if those were nuclear!” “Look how it’s blocking the Strait of Hormuz—imagine if it had warheads!” Fortunately, the current war has stripped away much of the illusion for millions around the world, revealing what Iran is actually about. But exposure alone is not enough. It will take a deliberate, sustained effort to dismantle the false premises and fabricated assumptions that continue to underpin hostile policy.

The reason Christianity is no longer what it was is because people stopped practicing the true version of it. If you went back to true Christianity you would essentially be practicing Islam. That's not an insult. That's history.

🚨 THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN HISTORY. We are in the middle of a war and the S&P 500 is about to hit a new all time high. When the war started, the S&P 500 crashed 8.5%, wiping out $5.3 trillion from its market cap. And now from the bottom on March 31, it is up almost 10%, adding $6.2 trillion back. And the strangest thing is, the war is not over. Negotiations have failed. The US blockade of Iranian ports is active. Oil is still at $93. Inflation just jumped to 3.3% in March, the highest in nearly two years, The Fed cannot cut rates. Yet S&P 500 is just 1% away from a new All Time High.

@shanaka86 Iran doesnt want Nuclear Weapons. It wants to use high Iranian enrichment as leverage to remove sanctions. I suspect this is apart of the narrative play. US walks away, ceasefire stands, a deal will be made at the last hour.

Twenty-one hours. The highest-level face-to-face meeting between the United States and Iran since 1979. The first direct contact between an American vice president and Iranian senior leadership in 47 years. And it ended before dawn on April 12 with JD Vance standing at a podium in the Serena Hotel saying: “The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. I think that’s bad news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the United States of America.” The core impasse was nuclear. Vance said the US could not get “an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon.” He acknowledged Iran’s enrichment facilities had been destroyed during Operation Epic Fury. But the US wanted a long-term commitment of intent. Iran refused. Ghalibaf said the US must “decide whether they can earn our trust or not.” Vance left a “final and best offer” on the table. He spoke to Trump “a half dozen times, a dozen times” during the 21 hours. He boarded Air Force Two and flew to Ramstein. And then Trump posted. “Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz.” He ordered interdiction of every vessel that paid a toll to Iran. He announced the destruction of Iranian mines. He warned that any Iranian who fires will be “BLOWN TO HELL.” He closed with: “We are fully LOCKED AND LOADED.” Four days ago, Trump called the Hormuz toll “a beautiful thing” and proposed a “joint venture.” Three days ago, he reversed and posted “they better stop now.” Two days ago, Vance boarded Air Force Two saying he would extend “the open hand” if Iran negotiated in good faith. Today, Trump announced a naval blockade of a strait the United States has spent six weeks trying to open. The United States is now blockading the Strait of Hormuz to open the Strait of Hormuz. Trump is imposing a blockade on Iran’s blockade. The country that demanded free passage is now restricting all passage. The stated goal is to end the toll system by interdicting every ship that paid it. This means seizing vessels belonging to China, Russia, India, Iraq, and Pakistan, the five nations Iran granted special transit approval to during the war. The same Pakistan that hosted the peace talks that collapsed hours ago. The same China that brokered the ceasefire. The same India that imports 65 percent of its helium from Qatar’s destroyed Ras Laffan complex. Every toll-paying nation is now a target of the blockade those tolls were supposed to prevent. The ceasefire expires April 22. Ten days. The mines are still drifting. The 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium is still in Iranian hands. China is preparing MANPADs for delivery. Hezbollah is still firing rockets. And the two delegations that sat across from each other for 21 hours left holding the same documents they arrived with. The talks did not fail because they were badly conducted. They failed because the distance between “we will never give up nuclear sovereignty” and “we need a permanent commitment to never seek nuclear weapons” is not a negotiating gap. It is a civilizational divide. And no hotel in Islamabad, no matter how well guarded, is large enough to hold both positions in the same room. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…
