7 years ago today: K1 goes No. 1. Kyler Murray was selected No. 1 overall by the Arizona Cardinals. Kyler became the fifth Sooner to be selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft and Oklahoma became the first school to have back-to-back No. 1 selections at the same position.

Happy Birthday to Bud Wilkinson. Born in 1916, Bud was the OU head coach from 1947 to 1963, compiling a record of 145–29–4. Bud won three national titles, 14 conference titles, but his greatest coaching feat is the 47-game win streak from 1953-1957, which still stands as the longest streak in college football history. We salute you Bud. 🫡
