I’ve seen Sarratt lumped in with receivers who “can’t separate” and this is one of the stats I believe disproves that notion. When looking at receivers drafted in rounds 1-3 with a high contested target rate in college, Elijah Sarratt is the only one with an open target target vs zone above 80%. Highly drafted receivers with separation concerns that went on to disappoint or flat out bust were guys that equally struggled to get open vs zone. This includes guys like: - JJ Arcega-Whiteside (62.7% open target rate vs zone) - Denzel Mims (71.7%) - Quentin Johnston (72.7%) - Terrace Marshall Jr. (69%) - N’Keal Harry (70.7%) - Ja’Lynn Polk (76%) Elijah Sarratt had a 85.2% open target rate vs zone. Higher than guys like Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Malik Nabers, Drake London, Michael Pittman, Tee Higgins, Brian Thomas Jr, and a lot of other receivers. Sarratt has struggled to get open vs man coverage in college, there’s no way to dispute that. But we have to remember the NFL is a zone-heavy league. 20/32 teams played zone at a 70%+ rate in 2025. Traits like spatial awareness, intuitiveness, football IQ, improvising, and getting on the same wavelength as your QB far outweigh separation ability vs man or beating press coverage in the NFL.
I Don’t Watch Film (Football Analytics)@NoFilm_Analysis

Among receivers drafted since 2019, Elijah Sarratt has the largest difference in Open Target Rate against zone (85.2%) vs man (56.8%) He joins DK Metcalf, Nico Collins, Henry Ruggs, & David Bell as the only receivers with a 25%+ difference in Open Target Rate against zone vs man

Green.Bay.Packers@GBPTrevor

#Packers WR Matthew Golden recently hinted he may consider switching to #2 👀 Golden wore No. 2 at Texas to honor his late Grandmother who’s favorite number was 2. When Golden was drafted by the Packers he opted to wear #22 since 2 was taken by Malik Willis Should he switch?

Don’t let anyone convince you Makai Lemon isn’t the best receiver in the draft. He has the most strengths with the fewest weaknesses. Athletic traits don’t mean anything if they don’t translate to production on the field. Everything Lemon does translates to the field.

Prospects like Zach Evans and Ollie Gordon made me hold on to early career production like it was the infinity stone. That was my unrefined process that early career production outshined the red flags of regression, loss of burst and explosiveness Call me an Unc, I’ve grown

Star-Lord’s entrance in Guardians of the Galaxy will never not be iconic. Even Glen Powell said that Chris Pratt changed Hollywood with this role He allowed for leading action stars to be “a little more silly” rather than “brooding” unlike Christian Bale.

@zacobson The Packer beat writters are all far left lunatics. Thats why we get such piss poor coverage against the Packers. Most of these guys have hard drives that would make the world worst pedophile blush.

4.6 not sexy for Emmett Johnson but we always knew he lacked speed and that’s not part of his game, I think we’re looking at a big value discount playing out in real time

This is not parody. This is an except from the Democrats’ so-called “alternative State of the Union address.” One thing is now abundantly clear: If you are still voting Democrat, you need to have a little talk with yourself.

@TheSageHitman33 If this were how his team handled day to day things he wouldn't be able to be in a room with ANY minority. White cis men would be his only interaction. We all know what derogatory terms mean and who they are meant to hurt. We learn them so we know what should not ever be said.

SERIOUS LOGICAL QUESTION: Is it too much to question the appropriateness of a person who may have such a tic as to possibly yell out the N-word at an extremely large and public gathering when Black presenters are on stage? The right to be offended or not isn’t necessarily the issue… There are a number of physical, emotional, and mental conditions millions of people have in this world. We also make appropriate choices related to those conditions: as a simple example, it’s not appropriate for a blind person to ride a bicycle. As much as they may feel left out of the experience because sighted people get to do it, the negative impact it could have on them and others produces an obvious conclusion that it shouldn’t be done! In my opinion it’s not too much to ask that a person with Tourette’s not be within a crowded ballroom of a formal gathering in which they might blurt out obscenities of any kind, not to mention racial slurs!
