We have are quite a few isobars today actually! Also, on sunny, summer days the winds are often more gusty. The sun cooks the air and it stirs upwards like in an oven. Summers are windier than you’d think! Whoooshhhh ⛱☀️💨 twitter.com/kirstentisdale…

Hi @Schafernaker - question: why is there quite a breeze today when the isobars are so far apart? And does that have anything to do with the strange striated clouds - sorry no pic as driving at time!

@mr_s_richards @Schafernaker Thank you. He has a website which shows the results of the data received from the station inc graphs but of course only of use if you live in Warwick 😉He is away at Uni now so no time for a blog but looking forward to Easter so he can come home and get on with the next phase.

@Schafernaker My son Henry is fascinated by the weather and over the last couple of years has built a weather station from scratch writing the software to process the data received and creating a website. Looking forward to watching those temps tumble – exciting times❄️❄️
