@E_3O5_ Lebron pushes pace. Still super athletic & a Tier 1 passer in the association. I think Bam, GA, Spo, & a win now situation will raise the defensive floor of Bron and he’ll be locked in on that end. + Giannis gravity. He can look like a much better shooter than he did last szn imo

@KTCO69 We’re gonna be a fast paced team, we need shooters, a wing defender. Where does he fit those needs

@Official414 I dont think hes mad that Bud wasnt there anymore. They js needed a competent coach and never hired one after bud, so reminiscing on Bud is understandable to me. Jrue was a grat fit with GA on offense & defense. Prolly good friends. It’s not like Giannis made a big stink abt it

@KTCO69 He cant in one way want Bud gone, then be mad that hes not there anymore. Just like he was upset that Jrue was moved for Dame but was fine with getting Dame. How did he expect those moves to be made lol

Unlike Rodgers, the Bucks did damn near everything in their power to satisfy said player. Damn near had half the family on payroll. But he cant ask for moves to be made, then get mad at how the moves were made. Then still get upset at the results from the moves lol
Nathan Marzion@nathanmarzion

I get that I probably don't criticize Giannis enough in the whole scenario. I know he didn't handle things well, but like Aaron Rodgers, when a guy does that much for me/us, I'm able to forgive them for the annoying stuff. Just how I am. Sad ending, I'll always love him, we move.

@TCIIIESQ21 Is him being a diva a bad thing though? It seems like he was doing everything in his power to get back to winning a championship. He seemed extremely vocal when things were not trending in the right direction

Jaylen Brown was right, he is childish.

Giannis Antetokounmpo called his Bucks teammates "selfish", per @JimOwczarski “Antetokounmpo let it be known he did not like locker room leaks, but his mental state was chronicled nearly all season by anonymous sources. He pleaded for accountability but then tried to pass off those reports as someone else’s doing. He would call his teammates selfish but then stand on a visiting team’s court with a former coach and yell about how that person would make sure he got the ball.” (h/t @TheNBABase)

@MaxsAllStars Why is the onus on Giannis to thug it out for the Bucks? He’s greater than staying in Milwaukee the rest of his career and never sniffing a championship again. He deserves real chances to compete for titles and he’s gonna do that for Miami

Did Giannis have a point in all this? Was the window closed in Milwaukee? Was ownership dysfunctional? Yes to all of the above. Could he have handled it better? Absolutely yes. Could he have made it work in Milwaukee? If he was the man we thought he was, yes.

I did not read the @JimOwczarski article yet (I'm not a subscriber). I know a lot of people want to blame Giannis or the media or the owners. Why can't we blame them all? The media has been pushing the "Giannis out of Milwaukee" agenda since 2018ish.

@MaxsAllStars How are you mad that he wants YOUR favorite team to be a championship contender lol. This should be what every star player asks for, the team just has to make the best moves to maximize their chances.

Giannis did a lot of shady things though. The Knicks flirtation last summer, launching the investigation because the Bucks would not let him play hurt in a meaningless season with his brothers, and frankly always keeping the pressure on the Bucks to keep mortgage the future...

@MaxsAllStars Every year aside from 2021 has ended in an embarrassing playoff failure OR injuries ruining their chances or just flat out missing the playoffs as a whole. The team disappointed way more than you would like to admit

I understand his desire to win, but he said it best, "You can't win the championship every year." Injuries and bad luck hit the Bucks post-2021. There has not been a repeat champion for 8 years. This is a different NBA. He's lucky he has a ring at all.

@MaxsAllStars Except for putting true championship contending rosters around him, which is ultimately what GA really wants. He was rightfully mad bc they got embarrassed in the offs again The brother stuff is cool but he would take deep postseason runs over having his brothers on the roster

Yes, the ownership/management situation has been dysfunctional. However, they did everything humanly possible to keep Giannis happy. Giannis behavior changed over the past few years. You could see it when they lost in the 2023 playoffs and he gave that speech. He was mad.

@MaxsAllStars Kevin love injured Giannis in 2023. Has literally nothing to do with Greece. Giannis played 58 out of the first 60 games in 2024 playing almost 36 minutes a night. The Bucks were putting wear & tear on his body, not Greece

And don't forget letting Giannis put all that wear and tear on his body playing for Greece which indirectly caused him to miss time playing for the Bucks, including the playoffs in 2023 and 2024. The Bucks sent coaches, staff, everyone to Greece to monitor and take care of him.

@MaxsAllStars Bud needed to go Played no role in doc hiring Endorsed griff but quickly realized he was a bad coach Had no idea they were doing a Dame trade and didn’t like Jrue being involved in it

Despite the Bucks flaws and whatever Giannis tells you, he was involved in all major franchise decisions over the years. He and Khris met with Bud before he was hired, they played a role in the Jrue trade, he played a role in firing Bud, hiring AG/Doc, the Dame trade, everything.

@MaxsAllStars Not demanding a trade and leaving the possibility of another contract extension gave the bucks a ton of leverage in trade talks. Yall should be thanking him for this, instead of criticizing him

It has been leaked that he stated he would not sign a fourth contract extension here by Shams and Jim O. That's basically a trade demand, even though he was not man enough to come out and say it. He flirted with the Knicks last summer. That got leaked out.

Reflecting after 24 hours, we should have been harder on Giannis at the end. Bucks gave him everything (two brothers on NBA contracts lol) and it still wasn't enough. He sat on the floor of the house that "he built" and gave us double thumbs down and booed us. We let it slide

The Heat can make something shake out of this. Would you answer the call? Duncan Robinson ($16M, elite shooter, heat guy) Isaiah Stewart ($15M, big/rebounder/defender) #Heat #NBA #Giannis
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral

The Pistons are looking to acquire Norman Powell, per @TheSteinLine & @JakeLFischer “Sources say that the Pistons indeed intend to add Powell, who is coming off his first All-Star season, to their list of potential offseason targets as they look to add shooting and playmaking in support of star guard Cade Cunningham.” (Via substack.com/redirect/2/eyJ…)

I think Sexton fits the culture more than Simons. He’s a pitbull and got a non stop motor. But Simons is a more talented scorer. I’m fine with either or. I just hope we’re able to sign one of them
