White people (like myself) do not experience what POC do on a daily basis, and so something that will register as noteworthy and racist to you won't always catch in our minds. Not an excuse, mind you, because undoing this kind of internalized racism

I've just been made aware of this. This is absolutely an insensitive joke. Earlier in the stream, we heard Ashley read out a username that contained the word “Nega” (short for negative) and all of us, including chat, freaked out because we misheard what was said. Once the misunderstanding was cleared, we poked fun at the absurdity of it. However, the "joke" relies on the fact that it's "teetering on racist" - which ultimately is no different than making a legitimate racist joke. I apologize for any harm this has caused, and for the fact that we ever thought it humorous to joke about in the first place. Racism is NEVER okay and we should always strive to be kind and lift each other up.

But he LOVES cat and mouse dynamics when cats remain on top, thus he is not really the one to look for when it comes to swapping those dynamics. This comic is for him, and he doesn't get anything out of it.

@fascist_puncher @TinyMouseKit @DStarblood @Otro_spy_main I mean, it's far more grey in totality but when someone is murdering people irl, it's considered pretty universally bad. Some things are just too evil.
This story contains elements similar to dark comedy, where tonally those lines get blurred.

If that's a story you'd prefer, that's fair. But it's also a goofily proportioned and severely unrealistic plot that has been massively tongue in cheek with its dark comedy.

She's designed not to be the focal point of the narrative, but instead to be what warps Nino and Lyle's arcs around her. If she got a clue, the story would warp around her and the amount if attention that would 1/2

@DStarblood @Muhnykins Is it a regression? Nino didn't hate her eating people or feel bad about the act of it all. Just that it was Lyle. This is an assassin who was trying to kill her. The circumstances don't really equate.
