SCOTUS ruling is sanctioned discrimination! The Supreme Court sided with Trump and told ICE it’s okay to racially profile Latinos. These are not “brief stops,” they are armed raids that terrorize families and communities. Justice Sotomayor sounded the alarm: freedoms are lost when appearance becomes probable cause. This decision shreds the very protections the Constitution was meant to guarantee. It signals that the Court is willing to trade liberty for prejudice. Once discrimination is normalized at this level, no community can count on its rights being safe. Today it’s Latino families in California, tomorrow it could be any one of us. Rights are not permanent. They survive only when we demand them, defend them, and never back down in the face of injustice.
