The European Commission has awarded ~2.5M € funding to a new Horizon Europe project in which Koç University Center for Gender Studies (KOÇ-KAM) is a partner.

With these new additions, 10 Koç University affiliated projects received funding from Horizon Europe since the launch of the new EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in February 2021. Contributions to KU reached a total budget of ~7.5M €.

The European Commission has announced the results of the recent cooperative project calls under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. Two Koç University projects received funding as partner institutions: Project: AUTO-TWIN: KU Recipient: Prof. Barış Tan, KU Budget: 370.000€

Teknoloji Transfer Ofisi'mizi, Azerbaycan Milli İlimler Akademisi ziyaret etti. Görüşme kapsamında, fikri mülkiyet hakları ve teknoloji transferi konusunda karşılıklı tecrübeler aktarılırken, yeni oluşabilecek işbirlikleri de değerlendirildi.

We would like to thank the UNIC and UNIC4ER (UNIC for Engaged Research) teams for bringing us together to discuss how to empower research management support in this new challenging era, to learn from each other’s approaches and to develop innovative methods.

The Declaration, a first for Europe, champions #EngagedResearch, which is an approach that involves local people and communities, NGO’s and Municipalities, working together with Universities to collectively decide on what is to be researched and involving societal partners.

Together with KU UNIC team and Istanbul city representative from @ipaistanbul, KU TTO participated at the #UNICConference entitled "Reinventing Education, Regenerating Post-Industrial Cities" and #CityLabsFestival organized by University of Oulu (Finland) between 14-16 June 2022.
