Final Score OT: Kentucky 89, Santa Clara 84. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Sometimes it’s better when Otega Oweh is carrying you on his back. Oweh finishes with 35 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and possibly a career-saving assist for his coach.

Can’t even describe what just happened. (Hint: Graves hits three with 2 seconds left. Oweh counters with desperation half court heave.). You had to be here. Overtime—here we go. Kentucky and Santa Clara tied 73 apiece at the end of regulation.

Kentucky leads Santa Clara 67-64 with only 3:41 left. There’s nothing in the world that matches the tension of a Kentucky postseason NCAA Tournament game. I hate it.

Cats go from up 7 to down 4 in the blink of an eye. Trail Broncos 59-55 now with 7:47 left. And so it goes.

Collin Chandler missed all 5 of his three-point attempts in the first half. He just hit like 6 straight (nothing but net)—in halftime warmups.
