She walked into Aerie already feeling vulnerable. Swimsuit shopping after having a baby? That alone was hard enough. She grabbed a handful of options, apologized in advance, even explained her situation; trying to make it easier, trying not to be that customer. But from the start, something felt off. The energy. The attitude. Still… she pushed through.
Then it happened. As she walked back toward the fitting room, she heard it; her. The employee. Mid-sentence, complaining about “how much stuff” she had taken in. No filter. No awareness. And worst of all… no idea she was standing right there listening. Her heart dropped. All the insecurity she had tried to keep together? Gone in seconds. The worker tried to backtrack, claimed it was about someone else; but the damage was already done.
She paid, left, and sat in her car trying not to cry… but she couldn’t hold it in.
You never know what someone is going through; one careless comment can hit harder than you realize.
If you caught someone talking about you like that… would you report it, confront them, or just walk away and never come back?

She was out at a bar, enjoying the night, when a man offered to buy her a drink. It seemed harmless; friendly even. But when the drink arrived, she noticed something off. Tiny particles floating on top. Dust? Sugar? Or something else? Her gut kicked in. She didn’t take a sip. Instead, she calmly walked back to the bar and asked the bartender to remake the drink. The man looked confused… maybe even a little annoyed. But she didn’t care. Her safety came first. Situations like this are uncomfortable; but they’re real. Drink spiking isn’t always obvious, and trusting your instincts can make all the difference. Would you have said something and asked for a new drink, or just avoided confrontation and left it?

Living in Louisiana means that starting in March our temperatures can easily be hanging in the 80 degree plus range daily. Please don’t leave your kids in a car for even a moment. The danger of someone snatching the kids and the HEAT are real!
What appears to be 3 children left in an unattended vehicle for at least an hour turns out to be even worse than expected.
Would you have called the police and waited or would you have gotten the kids out of the car one way or another?

I didn't think it could get worse, I was wrong. Watching that illegal animal from Haiti beat a woman to death with a hammer has radicalized me more than I thought possible. Our politicians bear the blame for this. It was an intentional policy choice. The Biden admin opened our border to the criminal filth from the third world knowing that would kill Americans like me and you. The blood is on their hands. Prosecute anyone inside the Biden admin who allowed for this to take place 13,000 Americans are DEAD because of them. These government officials must be punished. Lock them up.
