Obviously, this boils down to guarantees the Bengals don't do. $28M is below my expectations for base value. Or, in *hindsight*, they could have traded him to avoid this. I wonder how motivating the revenge factor was for Hendrickson to decide on Baltimore.

Trey took a 4-year, $28M APY deal that makes him the 11th-highest paid edge in the league with incentives up to $30M. A $20M signing bonus and likely just 2 years of guarantees could mean it's effectively a 2-year deal with 2 team options, we'll see about the structure.
