I am a medical student preparing for internship,and for the first time since l chose this profession,l feel deeply uncertain about my future. The proposed removal of internship allowance ,withholding graduation until after internship has left most of us confused and demoralized

Btw medical interns and doctors in Ug are very patient trying to explain why they need to be paid. I don't know where they get the strength to beg this gov't. Just close up shop and go home!! Let Chris and his people go and attend to patients for no pay.

Uganda needs motivated doctors ,not discouraged ones . We ask for for this policy to be revised by the ministry We are ready to serve . We simply ask to be treated fairly .@TheUMAofficial @OfficialFUMSA @PharmacistsUg

I chose medicine because l wanted to serve my country .I still do .But service should not require us the young professionals to shoulder immense responsibility without adequate support
