JUST IN: You do not fire your Army Chief of Staff in the middle of a war for no reason. You fire him because of what comes next. Pete Hegseth called General Randy George on April 2 and told him to retire immediately. The Pentagon confirmed it within hours. No reason was given. Not publicly. Not privately. A senior Army official told Fox News that Hegseth offered George nothing: no misconduct, no operational failure, no policy disagreement on the record. Just a phone call and a career ending in the middle of the most significant American combat operation in two decades. George is the 24th general or admiral Hegseth has removed. But he is not the 24th. He is the one that matters. The Army Chief of Staff. The man whose signature sits between a president’s intent and the order that sends soldiers across a beach or into a tunnel complex. The 82nd Airborne is deploying right now. Marines from the 31st MEU are staged on the USS Tripoli. JSOC operators are at forward bases in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Kharg Island, 90 percent of Iranian oil exports, sits 16 kilometres off a coast that someone will have to decide whether to approach. And the four-star general whose job it was to advise whether that approach should happen was removed 48 hours after Trump told the nation the war would continue for two to three more weeks. The replacement is Vice Chief General Christopher LaNeve. He was Hegseth’s senior military aide before this appointment. The man who carried the Secretary’s briefcase now commands the Army the Secretary is reshaping. The chain of command did not break. It shortened. The distance between a television studio and a combat order just collapsed to zero intermediaries who were not personally selected by the man giving the order. No reason was given. That is the tell. When someone is removed without explanation during a crisis, the explanation is the crisis itself. George either objected to something or was about to. The ground option. The power plant strikes. The Kharg raid. The escalation that turned a highway bridge in Karaj into rubble on the same day he was told to leave. Something in the next two weeks requires a chief who will not push back, and the Pentagon solved that problem by installing one trained as Hegseth’s aide. A former Fox News weekend host just fired a four-star general with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, replaced him with his own former assistant, and did it during a live war in which the next decision could put American soldiers on Iranian soil for the first time in history. No hearing was held. No misconduct cited. The Army woke up on April 3 with a new chief it did not choose, in a war it did not start, preparing for a phase the previous chief apparently could not be trusted to execute. The question is not why George was fired. Every general in the building knows why. The question is what order is coming in the next fourteen days that required removing the one man in the chain of command who might have said no. The war has no perimeter. The chain of command has no objectors. And the next phase has no one left to stop it. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

1968 CIA suspected Israel stole nuclear material from the U.S. and found traces of highly enriched uranium in flora near the Dimona reactor with a 97.7% U.S. military signature. This is Dr. Roger Mattson, who was on the Atomic Energy Commission technical staff at the time. He led a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) task force addressing the NUMEC affair where he led a group of NRC security experts to evaluate charges by an NRC whistleblower. Dr. Mattson also helped develop IAEA guidance and safety principles for the world’s nuclear power plants and served on the offsite safety committee for the Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear facilities. He left government service in 1984. In this video, Dr. Mattson summarizes the story of how Israel stole the bomb, which he wrote about in his book called “Stealing The Atom Bomb: How Denial and Deception Armed Israel” The Nuclear Energy Materials Company was run by Dr. Zalman Shapiro, a Jewish American Zionist with deep ties to the Israeli government. Shapiro was a National Officer of the Zionist Organization of America, which is the same organization JFK demanded to register as a foreign agent. After JFK was killed, the ZOA was never registered and rebranded itself as AIPAC. Ernest David Bergmann, who went on to become the father of the Israeli atomic bomb, turned out to be a close colleague of Dr. Shapiro. Zalman Shapiro’s neighbor, David Lowenthal, was a Jewish American Zionist who organized the funding for NUMEC; he was also a confidant of Israeli Prime Minister Ben-Gurion, and volunteered for the Jewish terrorist organization Haganah in pre-state Israel, which later became the IDF. He fought in the war for Israeli independence in 1948, under future Mossad Chief, Meir Amit. After the war, he returned to the U.S. as a committed Zionist, with frequent trips to Israel and close associations with the Israeli government before organizing the funding for NUMEC, which would go on to host visits with Israeli intelligence agents. NUMEC started processing highly enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy in 1960. By 1964, hundreds of pounds were missing, 270kg total, or about 600 pounds. It takes 10-20 pounds to make an atom bomb. When the AEC requested NUMEC process and control records from this period, all relevant documents just happened to be destroyed in an “employee strike.” The AEC told the FBI there was no FBI investigation needed, but records of their correspondences show zero discussion of Shapiro’s deep ties to the Israeli government. Glenn T. Seaborg, who chaired the AEC during that time period, later wrote in a memoir “what good would it have done if we admitted that highly enriched uranium was stolen and given to Israel?” In 1968, four senior Israeli espionage officials visited NUMEC under false credentials, including Avraham Hermoni, the head of LAKAM (Israeli’s security organization charged with espionage around the world), who recruited a number of spies for Israel’s nuclear program, Ephraim Biegun, the technician for Shin Bet, Abraham Bendor, the future head of Shin Bet, and Rafael Eitan, who later became head of LAKAM and ran the Pollard Israeli spy operation against the U.S. LAKAM was also who befuddled inspectors sent by JFK to investigate Israel’s nuclear program. In 1968, the CIA Director Richard Helms wrote a letter demanding FBI investigate the suspected Israel theft uranium. FBI tapped his phone and heard Shapiro say that Israeli officials told him he was more useful to them here than over there. FBI concluded the investigation and pursued no further action. CIA Station Chief for Tel Aviv, John Hadden, to collect samples of flora in the environment near the Dimona nuclear reactor. Israel had no capacity to enrich uranium but highly enriched uranium was found in the samples with a U.S. military signature of 97.7%, proving it came from the U.S. nuclear program. The fuel for naval reactors was always 97.7% enriched and the exact type processed by NUMEC.

The declassified FBI files (partial FOIA release) confirm the details: Richard Kelly Smyth shipped ~800 krytrons (nuclear triggers) to Israel's MOD via Heli Trading Co., owned by Arnon Milchan. Netanyahu worked there at the time and met Smyth repeatedly in Tel Aviv restaurants, his home, and business. Milchan has publicly admitted procuring restricted tech for Israel's nuclear program. The files align with your post.

@PalominoOMG Doubt it. It was obvious the request would be rejected since Israel's President has no legal authority to pardon crimes mid-trial. Trump’s request seemed like a diplomatic formality that just called global attention to the fact he is facing corruption trial, desperate for pardon.
ĐⱤØ₲Ø🇺🇸@KAGdrogo

Israel’s President has no legal authority to pardon crimes mid-trial (only post-conviction, on recommendation of the Justice Minister). Trump’s pardon “request” is therefore a deliberate non-starter that lands like a diplomatic grenade—publicly branding Netanyahu as so desperate he needs foreign intervention for a remedy that doesn’t exist. This forced Herzog, (a centrist anti-Bibi figure), to publicly reject it, exposing Netanyahu as a global pariah begging for miracles. Opposition figures are already decrying it as foreign interference and pointing out for him to accept it is an admission of guilt. Opposition can now demand: “If even Trump thinks he needs a pardon, why are we letting him govern?” It’s fake lifeline that accelerates the constitutional crisis under way in Israel. A Trojan horse— feigning as a pro-Netanyahu gesture but exposing the hollowness of his defenses and legitimizing his removal by Israeli hands. Trump looks like a gentleman and loyal ally; Netanyahu looks doomed. Israeli government officials have been openly accusing Netanyahu for October 7. The entire world knows Netanyahu has already been questioned for a completely separate ongoing investigation into his funding of Hamas and two of his aides have already been arrested. Now that Trump forced Israel to end the war on Gaza, he can only delay for so long. The writing is on the wall.

This is what happens when ppl with zero military experience or knowledge attempt to sound smart about some aspect of the military. The Army Chief of Staff has zero relevance in war time. His job is to train and equip warfighters and step aside for their use by combatant commanders, SoW and the President. That’s it. No one asks his opinion on the war because that function is performed by the Joint Staff. His only job is to ensure those Army soldiers were trained and equipped for today’s operations. The SoW has determined, for whatever reason, he didn’t pass muster. He was asked to retire. If he did his job, there are plenty of folks to choose from to replace him. That’s the system. It’s always been the system. 3 and 4 star general serve at the pleasure of the president. Everyone knows that. When leadership ask you to move on, you pack your bags. Find someone who actually knows how this works or stay in your lane. Otherwise you just look ignorant.

‼️NEW JFK FILES CONFIRM: The 1963 Kennedy White House suspected ISRAEL WAS WITHHOLDING INFORMATION ON ITS NUCLEAR PROGRAM and was considering economic sanctions against Israel unless they joined international safeguards JFK famously wanted to inspect Israel’s nuclear facilities and register the AZC (now AIPAC) as a foreign agent but after he was kiIIed, LBJ ceased both demands. To this day Israel has refused to submit to comprehensive safeguards required under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, Israel is not a signatory to the NPT and AIPAC is the only lobby on behalf of foreign government not registered under FARA. archives.gov/files/research… x.com/kagdrogo/statu… t.me/LauraAbolichan…

Netanyahu repeatedly met with convicted nuclear arms trafficker while working at Arnon Milchan’s company as it HELPED ISRAEL STEAL NUCLEAR WEAPON TRIGGERS FROM THE U.S. Milchan admitted to being an Israeli spy procuring restricted tech for Israel’s nuclear weapons program through front companies, but Netanyahu issued a gag order to silence him. Milchan is now a key witness in Netanyahu’s ongoing corruption trial.
