Do what I do. Get a small power station that works like a ups for the iMac. It’s under the desk, never seen. I do this for the Mac mini even though there is still an inverter system for the building. Keep that desk on all the time and protects it from surges. UPS systems sold in Nigeria are mostly rubbish.

A battery built into the iMac will be nice @Apple Power surged quick enough for my UPS to fail and my computer died instantly 😤 Power solutions in Africa are still not complete enough for this.

Waiting to be someone else is such a waste of who you are.

@heyFxmi I don't own any electric vehicles. No plans to own them either. Nigerians have taught me selfishness. I only build infrastructure for myself. Everybody else can go to hell. 😂

@KaganTech idk what your scale is but if the the power is plenty enough enough, maybe a charging station for electric cars and bikes might be useful. also depending on your location obviously. i’m sure these emerging electric bikes and cars entering ng could have use for them

How much money I have saved on electricity bill in just over 1 month of taking 1 out of 3 buildings at Xtra Space off-grid. In 3-4 years the entire system would have paid itself off. This is assuming usage stays constant and our staff capacity does not increase and we end up consuming even more power. At the moment a lot of the power we are generating goes completely unused.
