@davidlubar I’ve been hearing them for weeks now, but haven’t seen any yet.

I live a half mile from a creek that's good habitat for red-winged blackbirds. Most days, I'll get visits from one of them. Always a male. Occasionally I'll see two. They actually eat from the finch feeder. And they seem to enjoy the bird bath, both for a dip and for a drink.

I was a space-obsessed kid who grew up to write two children’s books about the Apollo missions, MARGARET AND THE MOON and THE ASTRONAUT WHO PAINTED THE MOON. Following along with the Artemis II mission makes me feel 8 years old again, in all the best ways.

Humbling AND sobering to see that DUCKLING UGLY is 20 years old! DUCKLING UGLY is part of my Dark Fusion series, which are modern takes on fairytales, so they contain some of the darkest endings of all my books. Have you read it?

@TedInJest @NJTRANSIT Haha! Yes! It used to be wooden and there was talk about making it two lane back when it had to be raised to accommodate higher freight trains. Sometimes the scene of standoffs in the middle.

Snoop @gordonkorman was a thought-provoking read about a boy recuperating from 2 broken legs who finds footage from security cameras around the city. It was useful to find out what kids were up to, but when he starts viewing more than he bargained for, what to do??

Hey @NJTRANSIT , one of your bus drivers just drove over the ivy avenue bridge in Haworth! I was too far away to get the bus number or a video but it probably left the depot just after 2 to start its rte at Chestnut Bend! You should be able to figure out who the driver is. STOP

Here we go again ⁦@NJTRANSIT⁩! Another driver using a bridge with a three-ton wt. limit to take a shortcut to Chestnut Bend! 6:04 AM!

Note how narrow the street is. It’s well trafficked with little room for pedestrians or error. Buses definitely don’t belong on this street. I witnessed this several times last week. Please correct.

⁦⁦@NJTRANSIT⁩ thankfully, your 186 driver heading to Chestnut Bend stopped using the one-lane bridge as a shortcut. Unfortunately, your 186 driver leaving Chestnut Bend @6:30, travels down Houston. While he doesn’t use the bridge, thankfully, this is not the route back.
