@YaniJPG @tryna_do_rite Especially when you realize that no one will help you once you're disabled. One of my closest friends has had long COVID since 2020. She has consistently known more than her doctors about the condition. They also have little to no urgency about helping her get well. It's awful.

Our kids are not for sale. We’re moving forward with a first-in-Canada plan to ban social media and AI chatbots for youth - because these platforms are built to capture attention, not protect it. Childhood should be about learning, growing, and being present. Not endless scrolling designed for profit. We owe the next generation something simple: the freedom to be kids. A lot done. A lot more to do.

COVID? Not looking causal, but some decent signals it could be a trigger.

I've seen this in so many publicly "recovered" LC patients. None of them take up masking again.

A woman posted she is mostly recovered from long covid. She seemed to attribute it in part to not identifying as sick.
Someone else responded to the post noting through his hard work/research he healed himself.
Luck is what these people had in common. That’s the key.
