A ton of student athletes are unranked but ask yourself, am I putting in the necessary time to change this? What are you doing outside of your normal routine to get better? A lot of coaching staffs aren’t going to risk their reputation if they don’t see the dedication!

@CoachHafner That’s asking for an absurd amount of hours for students that are there for struggling in high school if they’re non qualifiers. 21 credit hours in spring, 21 in the fall, 12 in the summer, and 6 in May- Mester, impossible workload for a student who struggles academically.

@CoachHafner That’s a tall task if they come in as non-qualifiers since an AA is required to leave. It makes more sense for full qualifiers, but you’re also behind DI bounce backs so less PT. Are they attending Maymester plus 21 hours in fall/spring, 12 in summer? Otherwise impossible.

@CoachHafner You can leave DI under a 2.5 GPA and still be D2-eligible at 2.3, since NCAA qualifiers aren’t universal across divisions. But if you leave DI ineligible to go JUCO, you can’t move back up until you earn your AA is in hand. Hence, why D2 is more ideal for struggling students.

@KalinFerguson If you can go D2, that makes you an NCAA qualifier, as an NCAA qualifier, you don’t need an AA, you can leave after at the end of every semester as long as each semester you have 12 transferable credits and a 2.5, look at the guys who transferred from us and who started, a lot
