@ArcRaidersInfo There are more votes in favor of a PvE mode, but in the comments, the players who speak up the most to complain about the potential addition of an optional mode one that wouldn’t even concern them are the PvPvE players. It’s clear who the vocal minority is.

@ronjour_ @MicahhParsons11 If it only concerns PvE players, where’s the problem? PvPvE players would still play in a PvPvE version dedicated to them. And all additions to the game would be the same in both modes, just with more parameters to adjust.

Biggest issue is pc players have a greater movement advantage than controllers. It should have a console-only version. Yeah, you can take cross-play off, but you still can’t play with your PS5 friends. Lastly , it’s impossible to farm with rats! A PVE mode strictly for arc or farm, no PvP, will do wonders!

@FinalBattll3 @ARCRaidersGame The main issue is that Embark for whatever reason, fails to create a reasonable PvP balance. PvE players must be able to defend themselves against, this hasn't been the case since release! TTK is far too short, weapon damage in PvP is too high, healing is too slow etc.

@JoeTrapani @ArcRaidersInfo Indeed, but to a lesser extent. Players in these lobbies are mostly PvE players, so the level of threat is very low. But we’ll see over time how these lobbies evolve and how long it will take before PvE players leave the game due to the absence of a PvE mode.

@joetrapani @ArcRaidersInfo The only PvP threat comes from rats and PvPvE players who go back to PvP after finishing their quests in cooperation with PvE players. The PvP threat is so minimal in these lobbies that they could be compared to an unseparated PvE mode.

@LegioXXAlpha @Velion PvE definitely created a very good money stream for BSG. PvP players need to relax about PvE. They’re so hostile towards PvE players. Not everything in life is about being better at PvP. I just want to play Tarkov on my own. I have no interest in the PvP aspect anymore.

@Gevany31427941 @vr_mama @MarathonGG_ Tarkov’s player base was never divided by PvE. On the contrary, the mode created by modders even encouraged new players to buy the game for the modded PvE. Then the studio sold an official PvE mode and gained even more players. Without a PvE mode, Tarkov would no longer exist.

PVE support often comes with an increased pressure for devs to continue to deliver new content, missions, story and experiences. PVP will often simply require 2 players to act in a slightly unpredictable way without a devs hand being involved. There is a big difference.

Instead of developing & deepening the PVP experience in Dune & boosting re-playability. Dune devs continued to water down the experience for PVE locked players. The PVP players left long ago. The PVE players followed, even after a year of concessions. Now they will try Instancing

People often argue about splitting the playerbase in Arc Raiders if a PvE mode is made but there are ways to prevent splitting and create "dipping" back and forth from modes. Incentivize loot that makes sense to be earned in a PvE mode only and visa versa with PvP Incentive mode.

If you buy a PvPvE game and are shocked when people PvP… then I’m sorry to say you are playing the wrong game. The AGBMM is what has turned me off from even trying Arc Raiders. The whole premise of these games is the chance interaction and stories that produces. Mechanics like AGBMM just makes it an artificial experience by comparison. It also produces really crappy mentalities like the one on display here.

Fact: You don't get to complain about pvp in extraction shooters, it is literally one of the most intrinsic values of their core gameplay loop. Arc Raiders pve only players are the same level of unbearable as Dead By Daylight players. Stay away from the wider gaming community.
