This road was a death trap for decades, after years of curses, despite being an abandoned Federal Road, part of an international highway network as a matter of fact, Governor Dapo Abiodun took it upon himself to fix it. While on it, the President Tinubu administration came on board, and they took over the project as part of the Sokoto-Badagry super-highway. This eased the DA admin a lot of financial burden and curses. In the last 24 years pre 2023, only one federal road was built to completion in Ogun State by the FG. Over the last 3 years, 5 federal road projects are now being done in Ogun State by the FG. The President Tinubu admin did what we have been begging successive Federal Government admins for. Just fix these money-gulping federal roads so we can have cash left for fixing state/inner roads. E shey gan, sir.
