Muskegon 2026 guard Arquez Petty was a blur in transition in a buzzer beating loss to Rockford in their district final game. Petty brung the energy defensively and finished with a game high 21 off the bench against one of the top teams in the state of Michigan. @ButtButtPetty2

Girls Basketball Muskegon Lady Reds 57 Jenison 42 Final Muskegon unofficially was led in scoring by Jaila Martin 17 and Kam Ward 10. Dy’Nasti Bell had to have unofficially 20+ rebs. Jenison was unofficially led in scoring by Selena Titus 14 and Brynn Butler 14.

Game 3: Muskegon used a 12-0 run to build a 15-2 1st qtr lead, but Haslett answered with a 12-0 run of their own to pull back within 15-14. After a Shamari Hamilton 3 for Muskegon, Haslett added a 14-3 run to take the lead at 28-21, a lead they would not relinquish. With Muskegon still within 5 early in the 4th, Haslett went on a 14-pt run to open up a 55-36 edge. Muskegon scored 10 straight to get back within 9 with less than a minute left, but Haslett added a FT for a 56-46 win. Haslett had a balanced attack with 5 players between 8 & 15 points. Jr Christina Dixon (pictured-l) displayed good touch & footwork while scoring in a variety of ways off the drive, finishing with a game-high 15. Jr Alexis Turner (pictured-r) controlled the game at the point, took scoring opportunities as they occurred, & seemed to be around every loose ball, amassing a well-rounded 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, & 5 steals. Soph Avery Hannah & jr Calista Blue & combined to hit 6 3-pointers & added 12 & 11 points, respectively. All 5 starters scored between 6 & 14 points for Muskegon. Sr Kamrin Ward hit a trio of 3s & led the way with 14 points.
