i finished watching the documentary and once again i have been reminded that loving bts is the best decision i’ve ever made in life

jimin’s “failure doesn’t exist, it’s all part of the process” and yoongi’s “it will all flow wherever it’s meant to” their trials have truly ended in full bloom

Tannies said this documentary is different than their others, and you can really tell. It doesn't have any grand arc, it doesn't tell so much about the album - in fact, we learned more about it from Studio Notes. Instead, the documentary shows BTS' album creative process in the most raw and candid way. Making you feel like witness by their side, seeing everything realtime. In manner that may feel even odd and unfamiliar. The documentary gives you eyes of a staff employee, or maybe even narrator of a book. Beyond showing how they worked on it, this also provides their thoughts behind, their reasons, the roots for the songs and choices and individual perspectives. It shows you the people Tannies were when creating this album. For example, rather than telling you why NORMAL was made, showing their desire of normal life and casual joys. Notice, despite numerous professionals who took part in creating this album, only very few get on the screen and always in the context of the members inner creative processes. It shows their daily life along, it shows the full picture from behind. This documentary is a love letter by BTS. for the love of bangtan please watch the documentary in its entirety rather than only consuming small out-of-context clips from social media. there are those who will use this documentary as yet another opportunity to attempt to create unnecessary drama by trying to push false victimization narratives. in my opinion this documentary did a really great job of capturing the essence of bts for armys as well as viewers who might be introduced to them for the first time as seven hardworking, creative, humble guys who as a family are entering a new era with the pressure, excitement and curiosity that comes with it.

in ancient greece there were two kinds of time: chronos and kairos. the repetitive military days were chronos (chronological, physical time). in LA with the members ,my second family. this is kairos (meaningful, significant time)

after watching this documentary it’s only made me more insistent that if you don’t like arirang your opinion is wrong and you should shut the fuck up

sometimes i really think i’ve reached the limit of how much i love bts and then i see them together as seven, laughing, caring for each other, just being themselves, and it shocks me every time because somehow i end up loving them even more than before.
