@G__Chain The 8oz gloves are ridiculous. I boxed at border-line light-middle once & cut the man to ribbons because of those little 8oz gloves. But then it's mental that at 154lb have the same 10oz as the Heavyweights!!

@ChrisCole98171 He is Chris, but it shows how good Big George really was Against Ali we all thought he was 'slow & flat-footed', but he was clever & knew the ring space really well George appeared to ship punishment, but slipped just enough. Joyce has none of that & now time's caught up with him

@ChrisCole98171 Definitely the end Chris. Fighters know the end, even when they don't want to admit it - Joyce's style makes that end even more poignant. He is not George Foreman, even though his early career may have suggested he may be of that ilk. Foreman was once in a lifetime..

Quality Chris, The 'Tao Te Ching' is a classic, but is simple wisdom - the obvious, but maybe not so obvious to many of us. I'm still trying to understand.. 👊🏼🙏

30 yrs ago July 11: Riddick Bowe wins by 7th rd DQ over Andrew Golota, @TheGarden NYC. Considered best heavyweight in world, 12-1 favorite “Big Daddy” is being surprisingly outboxed by unbeaten Golota until “Foul Pole” unleashes epic low blow fest that sets off ugly melee.

@combatsporrt Maidana at the very least should've got a draw. An past-his-best De La Hoya deserved a draw, but no big complaint with Floyd winning. But the big injustice was Castillo in the first fight, he won by a margin & got stitched up

Mrs Fox 🕊️@CaliforniaFrizz

We've reached a point where too many people no longer see those they disagree with as fellow human beings, but as enemies to be silenced. That should concern every one of us. Disagreement is part of a healthy society. Threats, intimidation, and violence are not. No one should have to install CCTV, security gates, or live looking over their shoulder because of their beliefs, their work, or the opinions they express. No family should wonder whether the next threat is the one that will be acted upon. No child should grow up thinking that fear is simply the price of speaking your mind. I worry every time my husband receives another death threat. You never know whether it's just another cruel message or something far more serious. That uncertainty changes the way you live. It changes how you think about your home, your family, and your safety. Too often, people are labelled as divisive, racist, or bigoted without any meaningful discussion or attempt to understand someone's views, simply because they've expressed an opinion others disagree with or find uncomfortable. When people are relentlessly portrayed as beyond the pale, it literally creates a climate where hostility, threats, and intimidation become normal. The media are hugely complicit in amplifying that culture. Somewhere along the way, we've forgotten that it's possible to disagree passionately and still treat each other with decency. We've forgotten that the person across from us is someone's husband, wife, parent, child, or friend. It's time we found our way back. Back to respectful debate. Back to compassion. Back to loving our neighbour, even when we don't agree. Because if we lose our ability to disagree without hatred, we lose something far more important than any political argument, we lose our humanity. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
